Salam Sejahtera & Salam Muafakat Johor. Sekian, terima kasih. MOHAMED KHALED NORDIN KATA-KATA ALUAN HAJI SUHAIRI BIN HAJI HASHIM KETUA PEGAWAI EKSEKUTIF PAJ Assalamualaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh. Salam Sejahtera & Salam Muafakat Johor. 1 PENGENALAN 4 ANALISA STRATEGI PENGANGKUTAN AWAM JOHOR 1.1 Johor Darul Ta’zim ...................................................................... 1-1 4.1 Strategi Pembangunan ..………………………………………………………… 4-1 1.2 Latar Belakang Kajian Pelan Induk .............................................. 1-2 4.2 Ciri-Ciri Senario Alternatif Pembangunan ……………………………… 4-3 1.3 Skop Kajian Pelan Induk .............................................................. 1-2 4.3 Analisa Senario Alternatif Pembangunan ……………………………… 4-4 1.4 Objektif Kajian Pelan Induk ......................................................... 1-2 4.4 Perbandingan Analisis Senario ……………….……………………………… 4-8 1.5 Rangka Kerja Laporan Pelan Induk .............................................. 1 - 3 5 PELAN INDUK PENGANGKUTAN PERSENDIRIAN (PP) 2 KEADAAN DAN ISU SEMASA (2015) 5.1 Pengenalan …………………………………………………………………….…….. 5-1 2.1 Pengenalan ................................................................................. 2-1 5.2 Keadaan Semasa Pengangkutan Persendirian ..…………………….. 5-2 2.2 Institusi dan Perundangan Pengangkutan Awam Semasa .......... 2-1 5.3 Kekangan Dan Masalah Pengangkutan Persendirian …………….. 5-4 2.3 Guna Tanah Semasa .................................................................... 2-4 5.4 Strategi Pembangunan Pengangkutan Persendirian .…………….. 5-5 2.4 Infrastruktur Pengangkutan Awam Semasa ............................... 2-8 5.5 Dasar Dan Strategi Pembangunan Pengangkutan Persendirian 5-6 2.5 Perkhidmatan Pengangkutan Awam Semasa ............................. 2-16 5.6 Konsep Pembangunan Pengangkutan Persendirian ….........…… 5-9 2.6 Prestasi Pengangkutan Transit Semasa ...................................... 2-25 5.7 Pelan Cadangan Pengangkutan Persendirian ………………………… 5-11 5.8 Garis Panduan Umum ................................................................ 5 - 16 3 STRATEGI TRANSFORMASI PA JOHOR 3.1 Pengenalan ................................................................................. 3-1 3.2 Visi dan Misi ................................................................................ 3-1 3.3 Analisis “SWOT”........................................................................... 3-3 3.4 Misi Transformasi Pengangkutan Awam Johor ........................... 3-5 3.5 Dasar & Strategi Pengangkutan Awam Johor.............................

  • Australians Into Battle : the Ambush at Gema S
CHAPTER 1 1 AUSTRALIANS INTO BATTLE : THE AMBUSH AT GEMA S ENERAL Percival had decided before the debacle at Slim River G that the most he could hope to do pending the arrival of further reinforcements at Singapore was to hold Johore. This would involve giving up three rich and well-developed areas—the State of Selangor (includin g Kuala Lumpur, capital of the Federated Malay States), the State of Negr i Sembilan, and the colony of Malacca—but he thought that Kuala Lumpu r could be held until at least the middle of January . He intended that the III Indian Corps should withdraw slowly to a line in Johore stretching from Batu Anam, north-west of Segamat, on the trunk road and railway , to Muar on the west coast, south of Malacca . It should then be respon- sible for the defence of western Johore, leaving the Australians in thei r role as defenders of eastern Johore. General Bennett, however, believing that he might soon be called upo n for assistance on the western front, had instituted on 19th December a series of reconnaissances along the line from Gemas to Muar . By 1st January a plan had formed in his mind to obtain the release of his 22nd Brigade from the Mersing-Jemaluang area and to use it to hold the enem y near Gemas while counter-attacks were made by his 27th Brigade on the Japanese flank and rear in the vicinity of Tampin, on the main road near the border of Malacca and Negri Sembilan . Although he realised tha t further coastal landings were possible, he thought of these in terms of small parties, and considered that the enemy would prefer to press forwar d as he was doing by the trunk road rather than attempt a major movement by coastal roads, despite the fact that the coastal route Malacca-Muar- Batu Pahat offered a short cut to Ayer Hitam, far to his rear .

  • Causeway Link Buses Now Available from Mall of Medini to Singapore
5/5/2016 Causeway Link buses now available from Mall of Medini to Singapore | New Straits Times | Malaysia General Business Sports and Lifestyle News Causeway Link buses now available from Mall of Medini to Singapore BY CHUAH BEE KIM 16 MARCH 2016 @ 8:30 PM Tweet ISKANDAR PUTERI: Those who commute to Singapore can now head to the Mall of Medini to take the Causeway Link buses to the republic. Handal Indah Sdn Bhd executive director Rozlan A. Bakar said the mall has more than 1,000 parking spaces for commuters to park their cars before taking the buses to Singapore to work. Rozlan said there are 50 trips from the mall to the Sultan Abu Bakar Customs, Immigration and Quarantine Complex in the Second Link from as early as 5am, and daily services from the Sultan Iskandar CIQ Building to Singapore via the Causeway. A total of 1.1 million commuters use the Causeway Link buses daily to and from Singapore to Johor per month, which is about 36,000 commuters a day. On challenges faced by Handal Indah, Rozlan said the company has a shortage of bus drivers and the road conditions also cause buses to have a shorter lifespan and suffer breakdowns. "A total of 150 buses can head to Singapore in a day, and the same number come to Johor via Singapore," he told a Press conference here today. "However, we take steps to improve comfort for commuters and we upgrade on technology," he said. As for buses plying routes in the city, Rozlan said there are 200 buses for this and the waiting time is 20 minutes per bus.
