0t) Noting nonetheless the farlure of attempts to coordinate actron by'the natronal parhaments of the member states of WEU and the European Union within the Conference of European Affairs Committees (cEAC).

(iri) Stressrng the need to develop contacts and improve the exchange of rnformation betu'een the foreign affairs and defence commlttees of the natronal parhamcnts of member states of WEU and of the European Union and also u'rth the European Parhament,
