Slivna 17:30 – 19:00 Participation in a local event and hiking tour with torches from the old city of Litija to the old Mine Sitarjevec, visit of the mine 20:00 – 22:00 Dinner at Tourist farm Pr’ Krač with Folklore Group Dolsko, meeting with the LAG’s president Željko Savič 22.30 Return to the hotel in Kamnik 4. DAY Thursday, 5th December 2019 Location: Kamnik 8.00 – 9.00 Breakfast at the hotel, Kamnik After 9.00 Departure Accomodation: We have chosen for the accommodation two different options in the city of Kamnik, they are only 1 km apart: POD SKALO - B&B, Hostel and Pub: http://www.podskalo.si/rooms A price for a 1-bed room is 35 EUR/night, and for 2-beds room is 58 EUR/night (29 EUR/person), breakfast is included. Traveling information: Kamnik is located 15 km from Ljubljana Airport and 23 km from Ljubljana. Ljubljana Airport is the nearest airport, where you can take taxi to the hotel or travel with public transport to Ljubljana and then with train or bus to Kamnik. Slovenia is a small country, so good options are also neighboring airports in Venice, Vienna, Zagreb etc. From these places you can travel to Ljubljana for low costs with Flixbus, Goopti etc. From Ljubljana to Kamnik is a public bus or train from the main bus/train station. General information about the city City consist of two strong spatial and at the same time historical elements. First one is old medieval city centre and second one a post WW2 industrial and socialist area of city extension with factories, apartment blocks and suburban housing areas. Due to this two distinctive spatial entities, city of Kamnik is always trying to crate its identity between old and “new” era. The citizens recognize these two elements as a strong holding point of identity and atmosphere. Similarly, the difference is between the urban part of Kamnik municipality and rural part. Statistical data, which in most cases, it deals with both together, is difficult to divide on these two statistical entities. In this report, we have tried to divide data and describe as relevantly as possible the urban part of Kamnik municipality. 1.1. General data of Kamnik city and its inhabitants Municipality of Kamnik has roughly 30.000 inhabitants, of which City of Kamnik and its closest suburbs can count for approximately one-half of the inhabitants.
