Bus Service Revisions 2021-2022 Service Route Revisions and Comments 0649 hrs ex Echt - Westhill and 1834 hrs ex Westhill - Echt (both Monday to Friday) are withdrawn. 0530 hrs ex Westhill to Aberdeen (Saturday) (0605 hrs from 24 April) will be withdrawn. Echt/Westhill - X17 Aberdeen Westhill A2B dial-a-bus service provides a weekday off-peak facility for Echt. The first bus from Westhill to Aberdeen on Saturdays will depart approx. 0630 hrs. from 6 June) Monday and Thursday interpeak service is withdrawn. Blackdog - 64 Aberdeen Regular services to/from Aberdeen operate to/from bus stops on A90 / A92 roundabout 1825 hrs and 2015 hrs ex Peterhead (Monday to Friday), 1902 hrs ex Stuartfield (Monday to Friday), 1642 hrs and 1902 hrs ex Stuartfield - Mintlaw Peterhead (Saturday) are withdrawn. 66 / 66A - Peterhead The last bus from Peterhead to Stuartfield (Monday to Saturday) currently departs at 1730 hrs (1800 hrs from 19 April) 2225 hrs ex St Combs - Fraserburgh (Saturday) is withdrawn. Fraserburgh - 69 Inverallochy - St The last bus from St. Combs on Saturdays currently departs at Combs 2053 hrs. 1820 hrs, 1850 hrs and 2115 hrs ex Broad Street (Monday to Friday) are withdrawn. Fraserburgh Town 76/77 Service The last bus from Broad Street currently departs at 1700 hrs. (1750 hrs from 19 April) 0518 hrs ex Peterhead and 2323 hrs ex Boddam (Monday to Friday) are withdrawn. Peterhead - 81 Boddam The first bus from Peterhead currently departs at 0555 hrs. (0615 hrs from 19 April). Currently the last bus from Boddam departs at 1830 hrs. but this will be 2235 hrs. from 19 April) Aberdeen - Aboyne 201 Sunday service between Ballater and Braemar will be withdrawn. - Braemar "The 3 return journeys between Oldmeldrum and Inverurie on Saturdays are withdrawn. Oldmeldrum - 240 Inverurie Service 49 (Ellon - Oldmeldrum - Inverurie) will continue to provide alternative journeys on Saturdays until implementation of the Inverurie Demand Responsive Transport pilot project, Service Route Revisions and Comments Thursday interpeak return journey is withdrawn. New Byth - Fyvie - 248 All settlements, with the exception of Woodhead, have transport Inverurie services available on a more regular basis to alternative town(s) for shopping/social/leisure purposes. Saturday service is withdrawn. Central Buchan A2B dial-a-bus service can provide transport New Pitsligo - between New Pitsligo and Strichen to connect with Buchan 270 Fraserburgh Xpress journeys to/from Fraserburgh on Saturdays. Circular New Aberdour has early morning and early evening journeys to/from Fraserburgh on Saturdays. Banff - Saturday service is withdrawn 273 Gardenstown - Fraserburgh Weekday service between Gardenstown and Banff unchanged Banff - Fordyce - Wednesday and Friday interpeak service is reduced to operate 405 Cullen on Wednesdays only Tuesday interpeak return journey is withdrawn. Fraserburgh - 452 All settlements, with the exception of Cairnorrie, have transport Inverurie services available on a more regular basis to alternative town(s) for shopping/social/leisure purposes. 473 Gardenstown - Tuesday interpeak return journey is withdrawn. Fraserburgh Gardenstown has an alternative Monday to Friday daytime service to/from Banff (Service 273) 747 Peterhead - Ellon - Peak and Interpeak Monday to Friday service will be withdrawn. Airport Whilst there are no direct alternatives, Stagecoach Bluebird's hourly Buchan Xpress Services X60 (Peterhead - Aberdeen via Ellon) and X63 (Peterhead - Aberdeen via Balmedie) can connect with their Aberdeen City Service 727 (Union Square - Aberdeen Airport), which operates up to every 10 mins. .

    Aberdeen City and Shire Strategic Planning Committee Development plan scheme A Introduction 1 This is the second development plan scheme the Aberdeen City and Shire Strategic Planning Committee (ACSSPC) has published. 2 It provides an update on the progress we have made towards publishing a new structure plan since February 2007, and our programme for the next year. The document provides information on the following five important topics. • Why we are preparing a new structure plan • A review of the past year • Overview of the structure plan process • An updated timetable for preparing the plan (the project plan) • An updated timetable for consulting people and how we will do this (the participation statement) 3 At the end of the development plan scheme we say how we will continue to monitor and review the scheme. 4 We have already spent a lot of time gathering the opinions of the community and other people and groups. We aim to continue collecting their opinions to help us finish the new structure plan. B Why we are preparing a new structure plan 1 There are six main reasons why we are preparing a new structure plan. a Local economic conditions are very different from what was predicted in the Structure Plan Area Forecasts (which we produced in Autumn 1999), which the current structure plan is based on. There is a higher demand for land than we expected at the time. b The way development has taken place under the current structure plan has had consequences we did not plan for. Land released for development in Aberdeenshire has promoted detached housing for families.

    Family of James Brebner and Margaret Johnston, New Deer, ABD 28th September 2015 Generation One 1. James Brebner #1152, b. 1720-25 in Black Isle, ROC, SCT. 1771: Lived at Auchmaliddie, died shortly after 1780-85. Aberdeen Journal, Wednesday 21st March 1906 "... The progenitor of this (Brebner) family was James Brebner, a native of the Black Isle, who, as a young man, took part in the '45 Rebellion. On the collapse of the movement, and dreading capture by the authorities, he forsook his Highland home and settled in New Deer, taking care to conceal his identity. Subsequently coming under the general pardon, he settled in Auchmaliddie Farm, and married Margaret Johnston, of the Loanhead branch of the "clan." On 24th April, 1778 they had a son, baptised William, besides whom they had two other children.
