EFOS is a web portal that allows the airline to have its crew staff informed about any relevant aspect like course expirations, Flight Ops notifications. It also can host links to single sign on with AIMS eCrew, Pelesys training system, company email owa, PPS Flight Plan application, etc. Allows the airline to communicate efficiently to its flight deck & cabin crew.

 FDM and Risk Analysis project implementation & support. Successful Implementation of FDM Aerobytes and Risk Analisys “Bow-TieXP” software. Both applications are used by Safety and Q&A departments.

 Web development project modules. . Design and outsource web module projects like: . Flight Status Web & Mobile (gets flight information from AIMS, stores in a DB cache and presents info to customers via Web and iOS application). . Volotea Baggage (explains in an easier way all related to Volotea’s baggage policy). . Passenger with Reduce Mobility module (allows PRM passengers to indicate their handicap condition in order to be assisted in the airport). . Credit Shell and Credit File web module (customers can refund their booking if they hired Flex option).

SPANAIR, STAR ALLIANCE, Barcelona, Spain Nov. 09 – Feb. 12 Production Systems Manager Head of the Maintenance and Flight Operations applications and systems.

 Software responsible for extended aviation applications as MRO Software TRAX, Lufthansa System’s NetLine and Amadeus Altéa DCS.

 TRAX project owner. Control all tasks related with this MRO Software:

. MD80 and fleets Implementation in TRAX (by following Scrum PM techniques). . New TRAX modules and releases implantation to meet user’s requirements. . Organize and lead weekly meetings with Maintenance department managers. . Resolve 2nd issues coming from IT Help Support dpt. . Direct and fluent contact with TRAX Q&A, Programming and Support team. . Develop own interfaces to transfer engineers & mechanics licenses and courses from SAP HR to TRAX or daily currency values from SAP FI to TRAX. . Carry all administration tasks with system configuration parameters. . Modify and Create new reports from TRAX report tool and from ORACLE TRAX database using SQL queries and statements. . Train engineers and mechanics in TRAX’s different modules. . TRAX user and roles administration.

 NetLine project and support manager. Implant new modules for NetLine package and Implement interfaces between NetLine and TRAX (flight hours and cycles transfers) and NetLine and Jeppesen JetPlaner (Flight Plan estimated duration transfers).

 Altéa DCS project owner. In charge of ’s European airports deployment project.

 Aircraft to Ground software ACARS. Implementations projects like Boarding Gate Connections. Thanks to this project, the aircraft receive a message with the boarding gate info for the passengers on board.

 Own Interface and applications project manager. Responsible for development of own applications to face functionalities not covered by licensed software. Agile methodology was applied to these developments. These own developments were implemented by an outsource company. I was in charge to negotiate, to explain project goals and to supervise all project phases linking development team with airline final users.

 TRAX MRO Software team-leader.

 System analysis and reports to the MRO software vendor TRAX in Miami, FL. Maintenance area use to need software modifications, my main goal in the airline was to gather the requirements from users, to validate them and report to the software vendor using UML charts and full-detailed descriptions.

 TRAX Support desk leader: This MRO software encloses several modules such as Engineering, Planning, Orders, Accounting, Technical records, Flight logs... As a specialist, I was responsible to give support all TRAX users (~500) with their issues or doubts with the software.

 Oracle SQL queries & jobs scheduling. Most of them are built in order to validate work flow processes which controls aircraft parts life limits (such as flight hours and cycles) of the MRO software and allow the airline to increase the reliability and avoid risks in the fleet.

 Content projects in Microsoft SharePoint. I maintained a section in the SharePoint airline intranet where mechanics and engineers can find easily the documentation related to TRAX they needed.
