Trainini Magazine: December 2019 | International Edition
December 2019 Volume 15 • Issue 173 International Edition Free, electronic magazine for railroad enthusiasts in the scale 1:220 and Prototype www.trainini.eu Published monthly Trainini no guarantee German Magazine for Z G auge ISSN 2512-8035 That’s gotta roll… Shinkansen into the light Theatrical layout design Trainini ® International Edition German Magazine for Z Gauge Introduction Dear readers, It is hard to believe that it is already another year (almost) around! The 15th year of our popular magazine is finished with this December issue. I can still well remember how, in August 2005, we virtually out of emergency pulled ® Trainini out of the ground. Only the name of what is now by far the world's leading Holger Späing magazine especially for Z-gauge had been known for a long time. Editor-in-chief Only it had not been thought up for a magazine. A distribution platform for small series manufacturers was to be built up under it. At the beginning of 2005 our gauge seemed well positioned in the media: We had long been well networked and visible at the important exhibitions, knew how to draw attention to ourselves and impress third parties. What was missing from my point of view at the time was the sales platform. It was supposed to relieve small-series manufacturers of the effort of picking, shipping and accounting and to create free space for the development and production of models. On the customer side, postage costs would have been better exploited, because products from different manufacturers could have been ordered in a single process. -

Goethe-Universität / Fritz Bauer Institut Frankfurt am Main 2009 www.wollheim-memorial.de Karl Heinz Roth: I.G. Farben bis zum Ende der Weimarer Republik, S. 1 Einleitung Zusammen mit seinen Vorläufern hat der I.G. Farben-Konzern die Geschichte der ersten Hälfte des 20. Jahrhunderts in exponierter Stellung mitgeprägt.

Press Release
Press Release TRUMPF senior figure and partner Berthold Leibinger passed away The former CEO and Chairman of the Supervisory Board of TRUMPF GmbH + Co. KG dedicated his whole life to his work as an entrepreneur and patron of the arts. Ditzingen, October 17, 2018 – Professor Berthold Leibinger passed away in Stuttgart on October 16, 2018 following a long illness. He would have been 88 on November 26 this year. After studying engineering in Stuttgart and spending two years in the US, Berthold Leibinger joined TRUMPF in 1961 when the company was still a fledgling machine maker. For his numerous inventions, which he made in the interests of the company, he received company shares. Against this background, he became a partner in 1966 at the same time as his function as managing director. Under his stewardship, TRUMPF evolved into one of the world's leading machine manufacturers. Leibinger understood the potential of light as a tool more than any of his peers, and he is now regarded as one of the pioneers in the industrial application of lasers. In 2005, with three children and ten grandchildren, he handed over the reins of the company to his eldest daughter, Dr. Nicola Leibinger-Kammüller. His son, Dr. Peter Leibinger, is Vice Chairman of the Managing Board. His daughter, Professor Regine Leibinger, works as an architect in Berlin. In addition to his work at TRUMPF, Berthold Leibinger held numerous other official positions in the German business community. These included his membership of the supervisory boards of Deutsche Bank AG and BMW AG as well as his appointment as Chairman of the Supervisory Board of BASF SE. -
