TEAM ICTS AT BRISTOL AIRPORT RAISE FUNDS FOR A DEMENTIA CHARITY AND CARRY ON WITH A BUSY WELLBEING WEDNESDAY SCHEDULE Bristol Airport’s Wellbeing Wednesday initiative raised a total of £94.74 for Alzheimer’s Society – United Against Dementia. The ICTS Team has held a number of events for staff and their families, including: Strawberry Line Walk The Strawberry Line Heritage Trail is a 10-mile traffic free route through the beautiful countryside of North Somerset. A large proportion of the route is a disused railway line. We walked from Yatton to Sanford, stop- ping at the Railway Inn (Thatchers pub & orchards) for some well-earned refreshments. Harbourside Walk and Social Bristol Harbourside Walk is a 2.7-mile loop trail in the heart of the city (Bristol). We were lucky enough to enjoy the route on a beautiful sunny day, taking in the Brunel’s S.S. Great Britain, Underfall Yard, Harbour inlet, Millennium Promenade and finishing at Nicholas Street.

JetBlue is a major low-cost airline, and the sixth largest airline in the USA. JetBlue’s inaugural flight took off from London Heathrow Airport on 12 August 2021 and the airline will provide additional flight routes from London Gatwick from the end of September. ICTS is responsible for the provision of aviation securi- ty, including aircraft search services, passenger docu- ment verification, and passenger and baggage search- es in line with the USA’s Transport Security Admin- istration (TSA) requirements. My main responsibilities would be ensuring that time- sheets and rosters are all processed correctly via [email protected] and creating monthly invoices and that these are all processed in a timely manner for payroll and month end and providing administration support to all corporate managers. What aspects of your job do you enjoy the most? Supporting the managers where needed, as they are all extremely busy across their own contracts so being able to assist and help resolve any queries/concerns they may have or just generally picking up administra- tive tasks to ease their workload. What are the critical skills required for a job like yours? I would say it helps to be very organised and have a great attention to detail and work to a timeline which will allow for any ad hoc tasks to be picked up without interrupting current workload.
