the BR International Frequency information Circular (BR IFIC) is published in two parts according to services, namely Terrestrial Services and Space Services. The BR IFIC (Terrestrial Services) represents a reference publication which contains the following information that is relevant for frequency management purposes. This part of the Preface describes the Terrestrial services part of the above Circular, currently in DVD-ROM format. The BR IFIC (Terrestrial Services) contains: – the international Frequency List (IFL) (including all the frequencies prescribed for common use); – the complete and up-to-date versions of terrestrial frequency assignments/allotment Plans – particulars of notices under treatment in accordance with Article 11 for updating of the Master Register; – particulars of notices under treatment pursuant to regional Agreements for updating of the Plans; – the Special Sections associated with the Regulatory procedures applicable to Terrestrial Services; – the TerRaQ program for querying the published information; – the TerRaNV program for checking electronic notices; – the latest version of the Preface in Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Russian and Spanish in PDF format. This Circular (BR IFIC) is published once every two weeks since 24 August 1999. Chapter I 1 Edition BR IFIC 2770 CHA P T E R II Description and layout of the BR International Frequency Information Circular SECTION 1 1. THE BR INTERNATIONAL FREQUENCY INFORMATION CIRCULAR (BR IFIC) 1.1 The terrestrial part of the BR IFIC consists of the following: 1.1.1 The International Frequency List (IFL) including also: – All the frequencies prescribed for common use as collective entries; and – All the allotments in the Allotment Plans included in Appendices 25, 26 and 27 1.1.2 The Terrestrial Plans annexed to the Regional Agreements, namely: ST61 The Regional Agreement for the European Broadcasting Area (Stockholm, 1961), as revised by RRC-06-Rev.ST61; GE75 The Regional Agreement on LF/MF Broadcasting (Regions 1 and 3), Geneva, 1975; RJ81 The Regional Agreement on MF Broadcasting, (Region 2), Rio de Janeiro, 1981; GE84 The Regional Agreement concerning FM Sound Broadcasting Stations (Region 1 and part of Region 3), Geneva, 1984; GE89 The Regional Agreement relating to the planning of VHF/UHF television broadcasting in the African Broadcasting Area and neighbouring countries (Geneva, 1989), as revised by RRC-06-Rev.GE89; GE85-MM-R1 The Regional Agreement concerning the MF Maritime Mobile and Aeronautical Radionavigation Services (Region 1), Geneva, 1985; and GE85-EMA The Regional Agreement concerning the planning of the Maritime Radionavigation Service (Radiobeacons) in the European Maritime Area, Geneva, 1985. GE06 The Regional Agreement (GE06) which governs the use of the frequency bands 174-230 MHz and 470-862 MHz by the broadcasting service and primary terrestrial services other than broadcasting in Region 1 (parts of Region 1 situated to the west of meridian 170º E and to the north of parallel 40º S, except the territory of Mongolia) and in the Islamic Republic of Iran (for Morocco, the analogue plan covers the band 170-230 MHz). 1.1.3 The List

Monocots and Gymnosperms of Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands. Contributions from the United States National Herbarium, volume 52: 415 pages (including 65 figures). The present treatment constitutes an updated revision for the monocotyledon and gymnosperm flora (excluding Orchidaceae and Poaceae) for the biogeographical region of Puerto Rico (including all islets and islands) and the Virgin Islands. With this contribution, we fill the last major gap in the flora of this region, since the dicotyledons have been previously revised. This volume recognizes 33 families, 118 genera, and 349 species of Monocots (excluding the Orchidaceae and Poaceae) and three families, three genera, and six species of gymnosperms. The Poaceae with an estimated 89 genera and 265 species, will be published in a separate volume at a later date. When Ackerman’s (1995) treatment of orchids (65 genera and 145 species) and the Poaceae are added to our account of monocots, the new total rises to 35 families, 272 genera and 759 species. The differences in number from Britton’s and Wilson’s (1926) treatment is attributed to changes in families, generic and species concepts, recent introductions, naturalization of introduced species and cultivars, exclusion of cultivated plants, misdeterminations, and discoveries of new taxa or new distributional records during the last seven decades.

The aesthetic effect of these musical events remains a political challenge. This article is part of an occasional series on ‘The Political Aesthetics of Power and Protest,’ the subject of a one-day workshop held at the University of Warwick this September. Democracy, since it does not function through command or coercion, requires instead a constant renewal of sets of symbols - symbols which appeal to people and instil in them a sense of belonging and identification. Increasing disenchantment and disillusion with the state, with political institutions, their practices and performance, makes it more important to explore the place of this aestheticisation of political language, the aesthetics of protest as well as of power.

    Udział w czasie słuchania i wielkość audytorium programów radiowych w podziale na województwa lipiec-wrzesień 2015 Analiza i opracowanie Monika Trochimczuk Departament Monitoringu Warszawa 2015 Nota metodologiczna Informację sporządzono na podstawie badania audytorium radia Radio Track Millward Brown przeprowadzonego na reprezentatywnej grupie osób w wieku 15-75 lat, w III kwartale 2015 r. W prezentowanych zestawieniach zostały uwzględnione programy radiowe, których udział w czasie słuchania na terenie danego województwa wyniósł co najmniej 0,4%. Wyniki zostały porównane z poprzednim kwartałem, przy czym pod uwagę wzięto tylko te zmiany wskaźników słuchalności, które są znaczące statystycznie. Przy każdym województwie została odnotowana wielkość populacji oraz wielkość badanej próby (im mniejsza próba, tym większy błąd statystyczny). W analizie wykorzystano wskaźniki: Udział w czasie słuchania programu/grupy programów (w województwie): Całkowity czas, jaki słuchacze (z danego województwa) poświęcili na słuchanie określonego programu radiowego/grupy programów w stosunku do całkowitego czasu słuchania wszystkich objętych badaniem programów radiowych (na terenie tego województwa).
