In Tarvisio with the Di Prampero, the most imposing ski run that has become a cult for experts, with start from the village, where the Sanctuary of the Virgin of Lussari stands. In Sella Nevea, at the foot of Mount Canin and of Montasio, the location of the FIS training centre, with the possibility to ski in Bovec in Slovenia as well, thanks to the high-altitude connection. In Forni di Sopra, in the Friulian Dolomites, with two skiable areas, one downhill, dedicated to beginners, and the other uphill, for expert skiers, with the 2073 metres of Mount Crusicalas. Piancavallo, below Mount Cavallo, and Ravascletto-Zoncolan, set in one of the most beautiful corners of the Carnic Pre-Alps, welcome skiers and snowboarders of all levels. In Sauris, the pearl of the , located in a landscape of enchanting beauty, between the lake and fir forests: surrounded by the magic atmosphere of an ancient village, between the past and the present.

The Snow Park Arena Free Style of Zoncolan, with an impressive boarder-cross track and an area exclusively reserved to jumps.

Piancavallo’s Snowpark, with its half pipes, jumps and rails, as well as facilities. Moreover, in the area of Collalto, a ski run has been fully dedicated to freestyle, both for snowboarders and for skiers.

You will find jumps, quarter pipes and rails in Tarvisio as well, in the suggestive Snow Park area called Gold Park Tarvisio.

5 Here the mountains have the charm of unspoilt nature. To be discovered climbing up snow-covered summits, and then descend along off-piste trails accompanied by the guides of the Ski Touring School. Trails for the fittest ones but also simpler itineraries surrounded by wonderful Alpine landscapes.

6 The region offers a wide range of choices for cross-country skiing enthusiasts. Several kilometres of runs for beginners and experts become the ideal training ground to have fun surrounded by enchanting landscapes.

Friuli Venezia Giulia is the land of , with generations of Olympic and World champions, who have contributed to create a real school in these sports. The richness of the landscapes, the great variety of levels of ski runs and the vastness of the ski area make Friuli Venezia Giulia a perfect region for cross- country skiers. In Forni Avoltri, surrounded by a green, silent coniferous wood, the International Stadium completes the Nordic skiing offer in Friuli Venezia Giulia.

Moreover, always assisted by expert tutors, children can take their first steps in the beautiful Snow Park of Forni di Sopra, and at the Collalto Fun playground of Piancavallo: new structures equipped with playing areas with obstacles, tunnels, soft and colourful inflatables, and enriched with simple toboggan and tubing runs to make children’s stay even more pleasant.

8 In Friuli Venezia Giulia you can enjoy all the charms provided by ice, thanks to ice climbing and ice skating rinks.

For those who love ice skating, there is the Ice Skating Rink of , which hosts great hockey events (the Aquile team trains here), and the Ice Skating Rink of Piancavallo. The new facility of Claut, on the other hand, hosts, besides ice skating, important international curling competitions.

For the most romantic ones, there is nothing better than being driven around on horse-drawn sleighs, along extremely charming trails in the forests of the Tarvisio area or in the valley of Sauris. Piancavallo, Ravascletto and Forni di Sopra also propose toboggan runs for adults and children, to have fun in the simplest and most spontaneous way. Claut offers funny snowcat tours in the forests of the Friulian Dolomites, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In Tarvisio and Sella Nevea it is possible to experience the feeling of a thrilling sled race with Husky dogs.
