Netterström house is an early brick house of visual distinction and significance in the context of the Lake View community. Its asymmetric footprint, with a gable front, bay window and tall corner tower, and combination of the Italianate and Queen Anne architectural styles, give the house an unusual appearance and a strong presence on its triangular corner lot.
