Langel in his ninth season becomes the first head coach in the history of the Patriot League to three-peat the league’s top coaching honor. Langel guided Colgate to a program record PLAYER OF THE YEAR in regular season wins (23) and Patriot League victories (14) one year Sa’eed Nelson, American, Sr., G after leading the Raiders to their first tournament title since 1996. The Raiders were unanimous favorites to repeat in 2020, and Colgate has DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR followed through, winning its fifth regular season title and capturing the Will Rayman, Colgate, Sr., F No. 1 seed for the second straight year. Colgate never left the top spot in the league during the regular season. He leads Sa’eed Nelson, American, Sr., G the league with 10 double-doubles and ranks No. 1 in the Patriot League averaging nearly nine rebounds per game. Rayman has Tommy Funk, Army West Point, Sr., G etched his name in the Colgate record books, recently passing Max Mahoney, Boston University, Sr. F Adonal Foyle in point scored and sitting second in points (1,799), third in rebounds (870), and fourth in 3-pointers made (244). Will Rayman, Colgate, Sr., F » The New York product has reached double figures in scoring 19 Jordan Burns, Colgate, Jr., G times, including three 20-point games. He scored a season-high 27 Andrew Kostecka, Loyola Maryland Sr., G at Loyola and grabbed a career-high 16 boards at American. Rayman this season became the fifth player in Patriot League history to reach 1,700 career points and 800 rebounds.
