    LAMORINDA WEEKLY | Adonal Foyle is Coming to the Lafayette Library Published June 19th, 2013 Adonal Foyle is Coming to the Lafayette Library By Cathy Tyson Former basketball player and author Adonal Foyle is coming to the Lafayette Library to the first-ever authors and athletes special event from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Friday, June 21. Locals may know him as a Warrior, but he is so much more - poet, philanthropist and motivational speaker. He'll be discussing his amazing journey as an NBA player, his life experiences and insight, as well as his new children's book, "Too Tall Foyle Finds His Game." Foyle was selected as the eighth pick in the 1997 NBA draft by the Golden State Warriors and ultimately stayed with the team for 10 years. With the Warriors, he made a name for himself as a fan favorite. Following his decade on the "W's" he played briefly for the Orlando Magic and then the Memphis Grizzlies until he was sidelined by a knee injury and retired. Born in St. Vincent and the Grenadines in the Caribbean, Foyle was adopted at age 15 by Joan and Jay Mandle, professors at Colgate University, and graduated from Colgate magna cum laude with a history degree. In 2009 Foyle was inducted into the World Sports Humanitarian Hall of Fame due to his founding of the Kerosene Lamp Foundation that serves children, and Democracy Matters - a non-partisan student organization created to counteract political apathy on college campuses and examine campaign finance reform. He recently attended a Moraga Country Club fundraising golf event for his foundation, which supports a variety of activities using basketball as a catalyst to encourage education and health awareness among impoverished youth.

Kraft's six-point weekend brings his season totals to 24-18--42 on the season. He has totals of 10-7--17 in the team's last six home games, and finished fifth in the league in scoring. Kraft's final goal Saturday gives him 50 career goals and 125 career points in 121 games at the U of M, and the hat trick Saturday was the fourth of his career. Two of Kraft's career hat tricks have come agrunst the University of Alaska-Anchorage Seawolves, this weekend's WCHA First Round playoff opponent at Mariucci Arena.

    FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: 8/20/14 CONTACT: Garin Narain, Jon Steinberg or Jason Roose, Hawks Media Relations (404) 878-3800 ATLANTA HAWKS ADD CHARLES LEE AND BEN SULLIVAN TO COACHING STAFF ATLANTA, GA ----- The Atlanta Hawks have added Charles Lee and Ben Sullivan to the coaching staff, it was announced today by Head Coach Mike Budenholzer. "Charles and Ben bring unique skills and abilities to our staff. Both have strong backgrounds in player development that will complement our emphasis on internal team improvement,” Budenholzer said. “We feel very fortunate to add them and are excited to see how they positively impact our group." Lee, who spent the last two seasons as an assistant coach at Bucknell, was the 2006 Patriot League Player of the Year for the Bisons and ranks 22nd on the school’s all-time scoring list. After graduating with a degree in business management, the Gaithersburg, MD native played professionally in Israel, Belgium and Germany. Sullivan most recently worked in basketball development and as an assistant video coordinator with the San Antonio Spurs. He played collegiately at Cal-State Northridge and University of Portland, competing professionally in China, Germany and Chile following graduation. Sullivan joined University of Portland’s coaching staff in 2009, then was an assistant coach at Lewis & Clark College in Portland before joining the Spurs. Lee and Sullivan join Kenny Atkinson, Darvin Ham, Taylor Jenkins and Neven Spahija on Budenholzer’s staff. Additionally, Jim Thomas, a member of the coaching staff in 2013-14, has been moved into a front office role as a scout, a position he previously served in with Oklahoma City, New York and Toronto.
