The redevelopment of the proposed releasing site will offer a residential solution space that enjoys a pristine 1 waterfront location fronting the Inner Port Shelter.

The redevelopment of the proposed releasing site will offer an opportunity to extend the existing waterfront 2 promenade adjacent to the Lake Court which current terminates at the Marine Police East Divisional 2 Headquarters. The extension of the waterfront promenade will enhance the open space provision of the area and will promote the public accessibility to the waterfront. 2 Given its proximity to a number of low-density residential developments, the proposed releasing site is 3 compatible for low-density residential development. The releasing site is also located within proximity3 to the Sai Kung Town which is o equipped with readily available amenities and services. 6 3 The future residents of the releasing site will be e able to enjoy the greenery environment offered by the Tsiu 4 Hang Special Area nearby. B A 1 The relocation of the subject sewage treatment works will remove "bad neighbour" development etc from 45 the surrounding residential developments.
