Chris Bryant has been MP for the Rhondda since June 2001. Born in Cardiff, and a former Anglican priest, he resigned his curacy to stand for Parliament in 1997. He was educated at Cheltenham College, read English at Mansfield College Oxford and theology at Ripon. He was head of the European Affairs Unit at the BBC. In 2005 he was appointed PPS to Lord Falconer, Secretary of State for Constitutional Affairs and Lord Chancellor. He is a Biographer of actress, turned politician Glenda Jackson, and of Sir Stafford Cripps.

Llandaff Cathedral The Rt Revd. Dr is the and was born in 1947 in Neath. He was educated at University College, London and Selwyn College Cambridge and trained for the ministry at Cambridge. Subsequent appointments include: Warden of Church Hostel Bangor; Chaplain and Lecturer in Theology, University of Wales Bangor; Director of Ordinands and In-service training adviser in the ; and Rector of Wrexham. He was appointed Archdeacon of Meirionnydd and Rector of Criccieth with Treflys in 1986. Bishop of Bangor, in 1993 and in 1999.

SWALEC Stadium Lunch Rhodri Morgan, AM. The Assembly Member for Cardiff since 1999 and First Minister since 2000. A fluent Welsh speaker graduated at Oxford and Harvard. He was previously Industrial Development Officer with South Glamorgan County Council and Head of the European Commission Office in Wales 1980 -1987, MP for Cardiff West 1987-2001. First Minister and Leader of the Labour Party in Wales since 2000, Rhodri is the first ever member of the National Assembly for Wales to address the New South Wales Parliament. In return he then invited Bob Carr to address the Wales National Assembly. He is passionate about rugby, particularly when Wales play Australia. Married to Julie MP for Cardiff North, they have three children and seven Grandchildren.

Ms Paula Ganly Consul-General to the United Kingdom. Paula Ganly is a senior management officer in the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade at the Australian High Commission in London since April 2008. Prior to London Ms Ganly was Head of the Post Security Task Force in Canberra with responsibility for coordinating the delivery of security upgrades to overseas missions. Ms Ganly joined the Department of Foreign Affairs in 1984 and has previously been assigned to South Korea, Bangladesh, Venezuela, the Czech Republic, Sri Lanka, Hong Kong and Beijing. Ms Ganly’s Canberra assignments have been in the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade’s Corporate Division, South and South East Asia Division and the Diplomatic Security Branch. In 2001 she was promoted to Assistant Secretary. Ms Ganly is married with two children.
