Below are some company wide and business highlights for the month of July. We reported 2Q earnings on July 13 th . Here are some of the highlights: Earnings per share (EPS) of $.52, up 13%; Earnings of $5.4 billion, up 12% Revenues of $42.3 billion, up 12%; Organic revenue growth of 8% Total orders of $25 billion, up 32%; major equipment orders of $13.1 billion, up 54%; services orders of $8.1 billion, up 11% Global revenues of $21.2 billion, up 21%; developing markets revenues of $8.3 billion, up 29% Share repurchase program increased to $14 billion for 2007, with $12 billion expected to be completed between now and year end We held an investor meeting at our Global Research Center in Niskayuna, NY on July 23 rd to highlight how GE is accelerating growth through technology development. Mark Little, President & CEO of GE Global Research, outlined our technology strategy – Improve core, Accelerate new, Launch game changers and Identify adjacent opportunities We provided technology strategy case studies from GE Energy, Aviation and Healthcare during the meeting and then gave participants the opportunity to see “real life” examples in the laboratories To listen to the audio replay or download presentations, please visit our investor web site at: http://www.ge.com/investors/events/index.html Business Spotlights GE Infrastructure Winning global orders & service contracts − GE Energy has received contracts totaling more than $1.8 billion to supply 32 gas turbines and additional equipment for power plant projects in Kuwait and Qatar that will add more than five gigawatts of capacity. − GE Energy gas turbine technology has been selected to help meet Egypt’s energy demand. Under a contract valued at more than $110MM, GE and its partner Techint Cimi Montubi SpA (TCM) will supply two Frame 9FA+e gas turbine- generators, auxiliary equipment and training services to the Upper Egypt Electricity Production Company. − GE Energy, Wind announced a 130-megawatt wind power project in southeastern Turkey that will be the world’s largest installation of GE Energy’s latest wind turbine technology and will more than double the country’s installed wind capacity. − GE Energy has been awarded a contract to supply two natural gas-fueled Jenbacher cogeneration systems that will be used to support production work at BMW. − BOC Aviation became a new CFM56-5B customer with an announcement that it has selected the engine to power seven firm, 10 option Airbus A320 family aircraft (CFM International (CFM) is a 50/50 joint company between Snecma (SAFRAN Group) and General Electric Company). − GE Aviation’s GEnx engine took another positive step forward by successfully completing its fan blade containment test. The GEnx is the world's only jet engine with both a front fan case and fan blades made from composites. − GE Transportation announced that the Canadian National Railway placed an order for 40 new Evolution locomotives. − GE Transportation announced delivery of CSX Transportation’s 300th GE DC Evolution Series® locomotive. − GE Oil & Gas signed a pipeline inspection alliance with AGR Pipetech AS of Bergen, Norway to expand inspection service offerings and to gain access to more projects around the world. − GE Oil & Gas - VetcoGray will supply its subsea wellhead system to Petrobras for a gas production project in Brazil. − VetcoGray’s activities in Norway are featured in the following article. GE Energy Financial Services acquired a 90 percent interest in a limited partnership that operates the Scholl Canyon Landfill gas project in Glendale, CA. − GE Aviation Financial Services (GECAS) has completed the acquisition of a majority stake in a regional airport development and consulting firm, AviaSolutions. GE Healthcare − GE Healthcare released the latest version of Centricity® Enterprise, an intelligent and integrated software suite of clinical and financial applications that is designed to improve patient care and increase collaboration between clinicians – providing a better overall healthcare environment. − GE Healthcare's compact LOGIQe, has enjoyed booming sales since its launch last May. GE's sales in the field, counting six other products it launched last year, have reached ~$175MM, surpassing revenues of industry pioneer SonoSite and making GE the industry leader. − GE Healthcare’s Enterprise Clients Group team recently completed negotiations on a $100 million, seven-year agreement with Gundersen Lutheran Health System that includes design service and equipment for a new critical care tower. − GE Healthcare will supply state-of-the-art imaging technologies to England’s best athletes as they prepare for the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. The staff at the England Institute of Sport will be equipped with GE Healthcare technologies including LOGIQe compact ultrasound scanners and Voluson i compact volume ultrasound systems. − GE Healthcare announced that it has co-founded and opened China’s first MR Application Academy in Shanghai with the Chinese Society of Radiology and the Chinese Society of Imaging Technology. GE Commercial Finance − GE Capital Solutions’ Transportation Finance unit launched a full range of financial solutions, from leases and loans to wholesale floor plan financing, to the medium duty truck sector specifically targeting operators and dealers of small and medium fleet sizes. They are working closely with truck manufacturers and dealer networks to provide best-in-class service and technology, enabling them to sell more products to customers. Based in six offices across the U.S., this team aims to become the premier provider of medium duty truck financing by 2010. − GE Healthcare Financial Services has provided a $3.3 million lease line of credit to BioStorage Technologies. The Indianapolis, IN.-based company is a worldwide leader in short-term and long-term biomaterials storage, sample management and cold chain logistics. NBC Universal − Universal Studios production “I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry” had a strong opening week, grossing ~$50MM at the box office. − The NBC Universal Entertainment Cable Networks, USA Network, SCI FI Channel and BRAVO, have all delivered their best second-quarter results on record according to in-home viewing figures from Nielsen Media Research. − CNBC had its best 2nd quarter ratings performance in four years -- up 24% vs. 2nd quarter '06 and had the biggest year-to-year gains in cable news. − MSNBC completed the 2 nd quarter with the most ratings growth of any cable news channel, up 34% in total day and 49% in primetime. − NBC Sports has reached an agreement with The All England Lawn Tennis & Croquet Club on a long-term extension of its contract to broadcast The Championships, Wimbledon. − “Heroes” premiered in France on TF1 with great success. Three back-to-back episodes ranked #1 in its time period furthering NBCU’s international presence. − The Peacock Equity fund, a joint venture between NBC Universal and GE Commercial Finance, announced an investment in Trion World Network, developer of broadband games. − The NBCU family was the proud recipient of 65+ Emmy award nominations. The nominations include outstanding series nods for two of its freshmen series, "Heroes" and "30 Rock” and a variety of Cable and News nominations. GE Money − GE Money is giving consumers in the U.S. the chance to impact climate change with the new Earth Rewards ® Platinum MasterCard ® It allows users to reduce their carbon footprint by automatically contributing 1 percent of their card purchases to buy greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions offsets. − GE Money and Gap Inc. announced that they will offer a Visa credit card to customers of Gap, Banana Republic, and Old Navy. GE Money will also continue to provide private label credit card programs for Gap Inc. through 2013. − GE Money increased its shareholding in Bank of Ayudhya Public Company Limited to 31%, further strengthening their international footprint. − GE Money and Unicaja, Andalusia’s leading financial institution signed a strategic alliance to create a joint venture in Spain. The newly created organization will be a major consumer finance specialist in the Spanish market and the first consumer finance joint venture established in Andalusia. GE Industrial − GE Equipment Services and Titagarh Wagons Limited, a leading railway wagon manufacturer in India, announced that they have formed a strategic relationship to advance the country’s rail infrastructure. − Consumer & Industrial has won the ceiling maintenance business at Target and will provide ceiling lamps and ballasts for the retailer's stores across the U.S. Citizenship & Ecomagination − As a reminder, we released our 3 rd Citizenship report entitled “Investing in a Sustainable Future”. El Presidente de la República afirmó que con la Reforma Energética en acción “está surgiendo un nuevo Petróleos Mexicanos (Pemex) más fuerte, más moderno y más competitivo. Pemex se transformó en una empresa productiva del Estado, con la flexibilidad jurídica y gerencial para adaptarse a los nuevos tiempos y convertirse en una de las principales petroleras del mundo”. Al resaltar que el Gobierno de la República impulsó en 2013 la Reforma Energética “con una nueva visión, pero con la misma convicción del Presidente Lázaro Cárdenas: la de fortalecer la soberanía nacional”, el Primer Mandatario aseguró, en la conmemoración del 77 aniversario de la Expropiación Petrolera, que hoy “México cuenta con un modelo energético de vanguardia que permitirá acelerar el crecimiento de la industria petrolera y el desarrollo de la economía entera”. In addition to navigating through an unprecedented downturn in the energy industry, we went through a financial restatement process which was successfully completed in early 2017. Despite the external market challenges and the required internal efforts to complete the restatement, your Board and management team did not lose sight of the need to navigate Exterran through this period of uncertainty and position the Company to capitalize on the eventual industry recovery and new growth opportunities. As highlighted in the Proxy Statement and Annual Report, we sized the business to manage through the current market challenges, focused on generating and preserving cash as well as repaying debt. The end result was a stronger balance sheet, leaner organization and an evolving culture emphasizing accountability, stewardship, oversight, controls and transparency.
