Which neighbourhoods were exclusive, which came new? …explain some historical pictures? Mental mapping Ask to draw map of a particular way, e.g. from home to work, or of Dhaka in general, de- pending on interview. Participant observation 4.1. Going for shopping: How often (daily/weekly/monthly/seasonally/occasionally)? With whom? Is it a burden or a pleasure? ...why this particular place among others? ..is entry free? Minor activities going on 4.2. Transport in the city: How often (daily/weekly/monthly/seasonally/occasionally)? With whom? How long? Is it something pleasant or a burden?
