DAY 7 Bunda Cliffs and Head of Bight This morning we have an early breakfast and depart Ceduna for the Head of Bight. Every year, thousands of people visit the Head of Bight area for breathtaking views of migrating southern right whales. This area is considered one of the best viewing areas in the world with up to 100 whales congregating in the seas adjacent to the Bunda Cliffs at any one time. A large viewing platform offers people safety from the cliffs but also fantastic views. This afternoon we visit an interpretive centre operated by the Conservation and Land Management Department. Then, head off on an included Scenic Flight over the spectacular coastline, keeping an eye out for migrating whales. Our aircraft for the day is a Cessna Grand Caravan, with high wing, air-conditioning and turbine reliability. The scenic flight will take us all the way back to Ceduna, saving a long drive back from Head of Bight! Tonight, we enjoy our final evening together at the Foreshore Hotel.
