The Birdsville School Madigan, CT Birdsville Cairn & 3 Plaques The Proceedings (64) 65 Students, September 1962 put their names inside a sealed cannister. The youngest and oldest Aboriginal child at the school made hand prints. Bob Naylon's buggy was also set up by Griselda to commemorate pioneers in the region, and later restored by Bob Menzies.

Reg.C., Griselda, Margaret & Doug Sprigg and others built cairn and placed a plaque at The Twins [Poodinitterra Hill and Crocker Hill] to Sprigg, Griselda with Madigan (Simpson Desert crossing 1939) - cairn McLean, Rod, DUNE is a rough stones cemented together. Griselda Sprigg Madigan, CT Birdsville Cairn & 3 Plaques (64) 65 four letter word , Wakefield was probably the first Europen woman to cross the Press 2001 pp85, 139 Simpson Desert. The Sprigg crossing was the first by a family in a motor vehicle, September 1962. RGSSA has a copy of the 1939 film of the crossing by C T Madigan.
