Venue opening and Exhibition setup and breakdown times: Devoxx UK conference rooms and conference activities are open to exhibitors and delegates at the following times: When From Until Thursday 11th May 8:00 am 7:30 pm Friday 12th May 8:00 am 6:00 pm Devoxx UK exhibition is open to delegates during the following times. Your booth MUST be fully erected and staffed during these times. When From Until Thursday 11th May 8:00am 8:30pm Friday 12th May 8:00am 4:40pm Exhibitor Set-Up & Breakdown Times During this time the Exhibition will NOT be open to delegates. Vehicle access to the Business Design Centre There is only vehicular access to the Loading Bay from Liverpool Road. Pedestrian access is not permitted on the loading docks. Street parking restrictions apply and are enforced by Police and unforgiving Traffic Wardens armed with hefty fines. Please note the Loading Bay is open only between 8:00am and 6:00pm daily. You will NOT be able to access the Loading Bay outside these hours. Please DO NOT arrange deliveries directly to the venue outside these times and please refer to the Shipping & Storage section for details of arranging deliveries prior to the event. Parking at the Business Design Centre The Upper Street Car Park The Business Design Centre has an on-site car park with 250 undercover spaces. There is also additional car parking in the nearby shopping center Multi-story car park. Tariff Times Price Day Time 7:00am – 7:00pm £3.10 per hour, min 2 hours Night Time 7:00pm – 7:00am £1.30 per hour How to Book The BDC offers a pre-booking facility for parking for all events held at the Business Design Centre. They offer a pre-booking facility to guarantee spaces. All bookings have an additional £2.50 booking fee. To pre-book your car parking space, go to http://www.businessdesigncentre.co.uk/parking 5. Access to Goods Lifts Please note these lifts are open 8:00am until 6:00pm daily There are two goods lifts in the Loading Bay for the delivery of stand materials and exhibits. Exhibitors are therefore advised to bring their own if necessary. 6. Floor Plan Devoxx UK is held at the Business Design Centre. Sessions will be held in the Gallery Hall, Auditorium, rooms A to F and in the village green area. The exhibition hall is located on the Mezzanine. Coffee, Lunch and Meet & Greet will beheld within the expedition space on the Mezzanine. This CANNOT be done during set-up on Wednesday 10th May. 1. Booth Specs Platinum Partner Booth Specs Booth Size (max): 8 x 4 metres 1mg Hard-wired Internet Connection Gold Partner Booth Specs Booth Size: 5 x 3 metres Silver Partner Booth Specs Booth Size: 4 x 2 metres 2. Equipment Provided Devoxx UK provides all exhibitors with: 2 x chairs 1 x trestle table Gold and Silver Exhibitors are provided with a shell scheme. Shell schemes provide the venue with the means to run internet and electricity to your booth, if required. The shell schemes have slightly different specifications for the different booth types. Please see the specifications below for more info on your booth type. Getting printed graphics on your shell scheme If you would like to have your company’s graphics printed on your shell scheme this is available through the onsite printers at the Business Design Centre, Onward Display, for an additional cost. Some basic specs and costs are below. However, if you are planning to show demos on your stand, will be downloading or uploading large files etc. we strongly recommend you order a hard-wired connection. Shipping & Storage In order to facilitate correct handling and storage of your booth materials and any promotional material you’re bringing along, please follow the guidelines below carefully.
