Šílenství Jménem Therapy Sessions… 2007 2008 Šílenství jménem Therapy Sessions… V roce 2003 se Dylan a Robyn Chaos rozhodli uspořádat v londýnském klubu Herbal večírek pro své přátele se stejně úchylnou oblibou v co nejrozlámanějších beatech s temným a drsným nádechem. Prostě měli pocit, že hlavní město Londýn si zaslouží prostor pro tvrdší a experimentálnější stránku drum´n ´bassu, kde budou moci účinkovat talentovaní DJ´s a MC´s z celého světa. Nápad postupně nabíral větších a větších rozměrů, říše temnoty sílila, pohlcovala další města a zástupy nadšených party people, unavených povrchním drumandbassovým mainstreamem s radostí vítaly šedé eminence D´n´B: Dylana, Panaceu, Technical Itche, Counterstrike, Raidena a postupně se vynořující rytíře temnot Audia, Evol Intent, Current Value, The Sect, Limewaxe a další. Lebka se zkříženými hnáty a heslem demented beats for disturbed minds obletěla Velkou Británii (Londýn, Bornmouth, Bristol), řadu evropských měst (Vídeň, Drážďany, Štětín, Sofie, Budapešť, Talinn), západní (San Francisco) a východní (Filadelfie, Raleigh) pobřeží USA i Mexiko. Therapy Sessions s atmosférou, která by se doslova dala krájet, proběhly také v Polsku, na Ukrajině (Kyjev) a v Rusku (St. Petěrburk, Moskva), Bylo jen otázkou času, kdy Therapy Session zachvátí také Českou Republiku. Strhující premiéra se konala v Českých Budějovicích v roce 2007. Na jaře 2012 ve spolupráci s Imagination Festivalem proběhla první TS CZ v Praze, na České Budějovice se v listopadu chystá již pošesté. 2007 Na 1st Therapy Sessions – Czech Republic prostě nemohli chybět Dylan /UK/ a Robyn Chaos /UK/, dvojice, která za všechno může! Speciálním hostem, kterého byste na Therapy Sessions možná nečekali, ačkoli v roce 2003 v londýnském klubu Herbal už si na téhle akci zahrál, byl John B /UK/! V lineupu nechyběla ani vycházející hvězda české dark D&B scény, Forbidden Society, který byl až do roku 2011 rezidentem TS CZ. Všichni účinkující předvedli vynikající sety a české publikum premiéru přivítalo perfektní a nezapomenutelnou atmosférou v KD Vltava. 2008 Dva titáni drum and bassové scény – veterán a nadčasový producent a DJ v jedné osobě s nekompromisně cvakající protézou z bílého zlata a v té době nejžádanější hard d´n´b producent, v současnosti slavící úspěchy na Ed Rushově labelu Virus - the Panacea /DE/ a Audio /UK/ - kombinace, která zafungovala dokonale! Nízkoprofilová temnota zcela pohltila parket plný nadšených TS fans, tvrdost a genialita tracků přinutila k pohybu živé, mrtvé i nemrtvé! Therapy Sessions se do ČB vrátila podruhé v ještě profesionálnějším provedení již sehraného týmu. 2009 Třetí díl přitvrdil s demoličním týmem v čele s producenty Current Value /DE/ a Counterstrike /SA/. Německý génius předvedl set plný neskutečně rozlámaných rytmů a zvuku dovedeného k dokonalosti, skutečný extrém i pro nejotrlejší povahy. Justin z Counterstrike zazářil s přesnými a rychlými mixy a charakteristickým soundem okořeněným elektrickými kytarami. Objekt KD Vltava se otřásal pod tíhou beatů, stovek návštěvníků a zrood z týmu Trinity Pictures. Scéna navržená Kolabs Visual Artists patřila z našeho pohledu mezi nejpovedenější. 2010 Limewax /NL/, Katharsys /FR/, Forbidden Society /CZ/ – tahle trojice headlinerů opanovala čtvrtý díl Therapy Sessions. Různorodost a preciznost tvorby a stylů jednotlivých hvězd zafungovala skvěle. S dekoracemi vyvedenými v okultně gotickém stylu se zde jako na jedné z prvních akcí v ČR objevil videomapping. Párty jsme přesunuli do prostornějšího a z centra Českých Budějovic dostupnějšího objektu Gerbera, kde jsme naplno využili i možnosti druhé stage a rozšířili hudební spektrum o francouzské legendy Audiotrix a další jiné než drum & bassové umělce. 2011 Five Years of Therapy Sessions – Czech Republic. Páté výročí České Budějovice oslavily v Gerbeře s pěticí jmen: DJ Hidden & Eye-D aka The Outside Agency / NL/, Donny /UK/, Audio /UK/, Forbidden Society /CZ/. Doposud nejsilnější lineup přilákal zatím nejvyšší počet návštěvníků, domácích i zahraničních, favorita si v něm musel najít snad každý, kdo na párty nedorazil omylem. Holandský sound ovlivněný hardcorem, nezaměnitelný plechový beat okořeněný filmovými samply, drumstep a tvrdý neurofunk, metalem nasáklý D&B, tak by se dala charakterizovat explozivní směs hudby pro ročník 2011. Na minimalistických dekoračních videoprojekcích se vystřídali VJ’s z různých koutů republiky. Na druhé stagi probíhala párty se zlámaným beatem v rychlém i pomalejším tempu, s veselejšími odnožemi D&B, dubstepem a breakbeatem. 2012 Praha - Imagination Festival: Therapy Sessions. Pražská premiéra nabídla exkluzivní jména: The Panacea /DE/, Dub Elements /ESP/, Peter Kurten /BE/, D-Tox / Lowroller /IT/, Hungry Beats /CZ/. V prostorách garáží Kongresového Centra Praha se tvrdému zvuku vysloveně líbilo, stejně jako několika stovkám návštěvníků, kteří vytvořili nezapomenutelnou atmosféru a dokázali, že i hlavní město má svojí základnu vyznavačů ostrého beatu. Hudbu gradující s přibývajícími hodinami podtrhovala světelná show s dekoračními sloupy a širokoúhlou videoprojekcí od Invert Vjs. .

    01/02_2012 Prosit Neujahr ! An der Schwelle zu einem neuen Jahr zu stehen, ist zunächst einmal nichts anderes als ein jährlich wiederkehrender Zustand. Irgendwer hat irgendwann einmal so etwas wie einen Kalender eingeführt, zumindest für unsere Breiten 1582 den gregorianischen und seither haben wir einmal im Jahr mehr als sonst das Gefühl, etwas Altes abzuschliessen um etwas Neues zu beginnen. Eigentlich tun wir das ja ständig, es fällt uns im Normalfall nur nicht besonders auf und bei genauer Betrachtung tun wir das am wenigsten um 24 Uhr mitteleuropäischer Zeit zu Silvester, wo wir kollektiv einen Sekundencountdown brüllen, uns mit Sektgläsern zuprosten, irgendwelche Feuerwerke abbrennen und vielleicht den Donauwalzer tanzen. Warum machen wir das eigentlich? Ausschweifend gefeiert haben jedenfalls bereits im Jahre 154 vor Christus die alten Römer, als der Jahresbeginn 153 vom 1. März auf den 1. Januar verschoben wurde. Dass wir das wissen, verdanken wir Cicero, der sich in diesem Zusammenhang die Frage stellte, was wohl am 1. Januar von den Consulen zu erwarten wäre um sich gleich selbst darauf die Antwort zu geben: „ Ausschlafen der Räusche!“. Das mit dem gregorianischen Kalender haben wir alle einmal in der Schule gelernt. Die Assoziation des Jahresendes mit dem Namen Silvester (deutsch ‚Waldmensch‘, von lateinisch silva ‚Wald‘) geht auf das Jahr 1582 zurück. Damals verlegte die gregorianische Kalenderreform den letzten Tag mehr um Schadensbegrenzung und vorsichtig postive Aufmunterung des Jahres vom 24. Dezember auf den 31. Dezember, den Todestag des bemüht ist, suhlt sich die Riege der Experten hauptsächlich in den Papstes Silvester I. Erstaunlich dabei ist der Umstand, dass der neue Kalender zunächst nur im Heiligen römischen Reich, den katholischen Reichsständen, in Österreich, Teilen der katholischen Schweiz und in einigen anderen europäischen Ländern wie Frankreich, Spanien und Portugal galt und in vielen anderen Ländern erst sehr viel später eingeführt wurde.

Different exhaust after-treatment systems have been implemented over the years to control the emissions of criteria pollutants. However, while reducing the emissions of the target compounds these systems can lead to the emissions of other pollutants and/or greenhouse gases such as NH3 or N2O. Following the implementation of the Real Driving Emissions (RDE) test procedure in the EU, vehicles have been equipped with more complex after-treatment configurations. The impact that these technologies may have on the emissions of non-regulated pollutants during real-world driving have not been evaluated until now. In the current study we present the on-road emissions of a series of non-regulated pollutants, including NH3,N2O, CH4 and HCHO, measured with a portable FTIR from a series of Euro 6d, Euro 6c and Euro 6d-TEMP, gasoline diesel and compressed natural gas (CNG) vehicles during real-world testing.

The work looked at the use of multi-screen projections and what they can lend to an installation and how the audience understands them. This work also explores the idea of whether it is important to construct a narrative in an audio/visual installation for an audience or whether they would understand the concept without any manipulation. The concept of the piece is about what occurs between the hours of 4-5am. To help demonstrate my findings I decided to produce a series of films that all lasted for sixty minutes each. The films were unedited, fixed camera shots that observe the action to capture reality and never attempt to follow and construct one. I felt Andre Bazin’s technique of ‘pure cinema’ with long shots was the most appropriate way of achieving this. I believed the best way to illustrate this would be to build up the screens from a one screen painterly shot through to multi-screens progressing from a triptych to five, seven and finally a nine screen film which was full of images.
