In der WEC fuhren die Werkspiloten Marc Lieb, Richard Lietz und Patrick Pilet den vom Team Fel- bermayr-Proton eingesetzten, neuen Porsche 911 GT3 RSR, auf den zweiten Platz der Klasse GTE Pro. In der Amateurkategorie GTE AM erwischten Christian Ried, Gianluca Ro- da und Paolo Ruberti mit dem Sieg im Vorjahres-911 GT3 RSR einen optimalen Saisonstart. Pech für Porsche-Fahrer dagegen in der ALMS: Der 911 GT3 RSR von Flying Lizard Mo- torsports mit Jörg Bergmeister, Patrick Long und Marco Holzer wurde in der Einführungsrun- de von einem Ferrari gerammt. Bergmeister und seine Kollegen schafften noch Platz zehn. Wolf Henzler, Bryan Sellers und Martin Ragginger wurden im Falken Tire-Porsche nach Mo- tortausch Neunte. Ehrung: Hans Herrmann in die Sebring Hall of Fame aufgenommen Mit der Aufnahme in die Hall of Fame ehren die Organisatoren der 12 Stunden von Sebring außerordentliche Rennfahrer für ihre Leistungen. Im Vorfeld des diesjährigen Rennens konn- te Hans Herrmann diese seltene Auszeichnung entgegennehmen. Der ehemalige Porsche- Werksrennfahrer, Jahrgang 1928, gewann unter anderem zweimal den Klassiker in Sebring, verhalf Porsche 1969 und 1970 zur Marken-Weltmeisterschaft und holte für Porsche 1970 gemeinsam mit Richard Attwood den ersten Gesamtsieg in Le Mans. Bei Testfahrten mit einem Audi in Sebring (USA) rutschte er ohne eigenes Verschulden bei hohem Tempo von der Strecke und schlug rückwärts in die Streckenbegrenzung ein. Im Krankenhaus wurde eine Verletzung an der Halswirbelsäule festgestellt. Eine Operation ist nicht notwendig. Bernhard muss jedoch noch einige Zeit in den USA bleiben und zur Stabilisierung eine Hals- krause tragen. „Ich werde mich schonen, um möglichst schnell wieder fit zu werden“, sagt der Porsche-Werksfahrer. „Meine Frau Katharina ist zu mir nach Florida gereist und unter- stützt mich bei den notwendigen Nachuntersuchungen. Sobald die Ärzte mir erlauben zu fliegen, kehren wir nach Deutschland zurück.“ Carrera Cup Asia: Zehnte Saison mit größtem Starterfeld der Geschichte Mit 27 Teilnehmern verzeichnet der Carrera Cup Asia in seiner zehnten Saison das größte Starterfeld der Geschichte.     STEWARDS SUMMARY OF JUDICIAL OUTCOMES Event Document No. 42 2020 INTERNATIONAL VIRGIN AUSTRALIA SUPERCARS CHAMPIONSHIP RACE 31 “SUPERCHEAP AUTO BATHURST 1000” Mount Panorama Circuit, Bathurst, New South Wales 13th to 18th October 2020 STEWARDS SUMMARY OF JUDICIAL OUTCOMES, Update #3: issued Sunday 18 October 2020 at 1940hrs. Matters from Race 31: Deputy Race Director Incident Determinations At the request of Kelly Racing, the DRD conducted an investigation into an allegation that Car #44 was driving excessively slowly under Safety Car. No breach was established by a review of Broadcast and Gearhouse footage, nor by Supercars telemetry, and the DRD therefore determined that the matter did not warrant referral to the Stewards. At the request of Brad Jones Racing, the DRD conducted an investigation into an allegation that Car #34 slowed excessively in the Pit Entry lane. A review of Broadcast and Gearhouse footage did not reveal slowing beyond what might be anticipated in damp conditions of a Car slowing to ensure it did not exceed the Pit Lane speed limit in Pit Lane. Therefore no breach of the Rules was established. Stewards’ Decisions – Penalties imposed On Lap 3 the Stewards imposed a 15 Second Time Penalty on Car #3, Jones/Blanchard, for a breach of Article 3.5.1 of Schedule B3 – failure to immediately comply with Mechanical Flag. On Lap 57 the Stewards received telemetry data from the HoM which recorded Car #19’s rear wheels rotating at 23kph for 13 seconds during its Pit Stop before it was returned to the ground. The rotation of the wheels was also observed by the HoM.

    Press Release April 6, 2018 World Endurance Championship WEC, Prologue in Le Castellet/France Six Porsche 911 RSR at the Prologue in Le Castellet Stuttgart. At the Prologue of the FIA Sports Car World Endurance Championship (WEC) held on 6-7 April 2018 on the Circuit Paul Ricard in Le Castellet, France, the final preparation phase begins for the Porsche GT Team and Porsche customer teams. Four weeks before the first round of the 15-month Super Season in Belgium’s Spa-Francorchamps, teams and drivers put a total of six Porsche 911 RSR racers through their paces. While the Porsche GT Team fields two 911 RSR in the GTE-Pro class, the Porsche customer teams Project 1, Dempsey Proton Racing and Gulf Racing tackle the GTE-Am category. Porsche GT Team #91 A new driver pairing competes in the Porsche 911 RSR with the starting number 91: Richard Lietz (A) and Gianmaria Bruni (I) share the 510 hp GT racing car. Both drivers can look back on successes in the Sports Car World Endurance Championship. 34-year-old Lietz took home the GTE-Pro title in 2015, with his 36- year-old works driver colleague finishing the 2012 and 2014 seasons at the top of the points table. Porsche GT Team #92 The driver line-up in the #92 vehicle remains unchanged with 29-year-old Kévin Estre (F) and 27-year-old Michael Christensen (DK).
