Ein guter Zeitpunkt, noch einmal über Ereignisse nachzudenken. Für die HTV-Kader-Spieler war es ein gutes Jahr. Viele Verbesserungs- vorschläge konnten umgesetzt werden: • Kleinere Trainingsgruppen, mehr Turnierbetreuungen, • mehr Zeit für Einzelgespräche mit Spielern und Eltern. Beim Höhepunkt der Wintersaison, den Deutschen Jugend-Hallenmeisterschaften Ende November in Essen, konnte man mehr als zufrieden mit dem Abschneiden des hes- sischen Nachwuchses sein. So trug sich Niklas Schell, TC Bad Vilbel, in die Siegerliste der Junioren U 16 ein. Bei einem qualitativ hervorragend besetzten Feld, musste er all sein Können zeigen, um ganz oben auf dem Treppchen zu stehen. Auch Philipp Schellhorn, TC Palmengarten, der inzwischen von Nordhessen ins Leis- tungszentrum nach Offenbach umgezogen ist, erreichte das Halbfinale der Junioren U Ihre Uta Tschepe 14 und ließ durch seine guten Leistungen aufhorchen. HTV Vizepräsidentin und Leite- rin des Ressorts Jugend Sophia Voll, Eintracht Frankfurt, stand mit ihrer Berliner Partnerin im Doppelfinale der Juniorinnen U 14. Auch die Ergebnisse der Jüngsten können sich sehen lassen. Nicht nur wurde der DTB-Talent-Cup im Sommer gewonnen, auch jetzt beim Masters der U 12 Serie in Essen, wurden gute Leistungen gezeigt. ( Im ausführlichen Bericht in dieser TOP-Spin Ausgabe, kann man weitere gute Resultate nachlesen). All dies zeigt, dass wir im Jugendbereich auf einem guten Weg sind. Darüber hinaus passierte natürlich noch viel mehr in den Bereichen, die bei der Jugend angesiedelt sind. Bei der Mitgliedergewinnung für unsere Mitgliedsvereine spielt der Kinder- und Jugendbereich eine zentrale Rolle.
