Every participant MUST register. The program will start promptly at 9.00am on Thursday. This is an extremely popular course, and we anticipate a full house.

Ensure you arrive early to check in and get a good seat. Latecomers will be admitted at the suitable break in the program.

TICKETS Tickets will be sent out approximately 2-3 weeks before the event.

ADMISSION Admission to the program is strictly upon presentation of E-Ticket only. A wristband will be issued to you during registration. Please retain your wristband for the entire event. The Seating Category printed on your ticket indicates your seating section. Free seating applies only within your seating category, come early to get the best seats in the house.

For QL members, please bring your QL nametag for registration; For Ala Carte and guest participants, a nametag will be issued during registration. SEATING Free seating applies only within your seating category. ARRANGEMENT A replacement fee of €20.00 will be imposed for replacement of any lost Nametag.

IMPORTANT ITEMS Must haves: ▪ Writing pads and pens TO BRING ▪ A warm sweater or jacket ▪ Necessary travel documents (for overseas delegates) ▪ Some snacks as the timing for all breaks may be irregular ▪ Please bring your own filled water bottle (open containers are not allowed) ▪ Business cards. This is a good networking opportunity

Business wears or smart casual. Please dress comfortably, making sure you bring a ATTIRE jacket/sweater as the temperature in the conference facilities can fluctuate.

RECORDING / Cameras and tape recorders of any type are not permitted inside the event hall. Taping or recording of any session is prohibited at all time. TAPING

MEALS There will be breaks. Food will not be provided. You are advised to bring your own snacks. You may purchase food from the outlets at the venue.

TRAVEL

TRAVEL HOW TO REACH US:

From the North: Follow freeway A114 until it becomes the B109 (called Prenzlauer Allee), signed for the city center (Zentrum) and Prenzlauer Berg. Turn left into Danzigerstrasse, which then becomes Petersburger strasse (B96a). After approx. 3 km turn right into Karl Marx-Allee (B1). After 480m the Kosmos will be on your right. For guests arriving by car parking spaces are available in our underground garage and public parking spaces are available in Karl-Marx-Allee.

From the East: Turn off freeway A10 onto the B1 (feeds into Karl-Marx-Allee) signed for Berlin center (Zentrum). After approx.. 15 km the Kosmos will be on your right.

From the West: Take the B5 signed for Berlin and turn right into Strasse des 17 Juni (B5). At Alexanderplatz turn right into Karl-Marx-Allee (B1), and after approx.. 3 km the Kosmos will be on your left.

From the South: Take the B96 signed for Berlin and after approx.. 14 km turn right into Gitschiner strasse, which then becomes Skalitzerstrasse (B179). After approx.. 6 km turn left into Karl-Marx-Allee (B1) and after approx.. 480m the Kosmos will be on your right side.

By air:

From Berlin-Tegel (TXL) From Berlin’s Tegel Airport take bus TXL as far as Beusselstrasse. Change to suburban rail line S41 and travel to Frankfurter Allee. From there take subway line U5 bound for Alexanderplatz as far as Frankfurter Tor.

From Berlin-Schonefeld (SXF) Take suburban rail line S9 to Frankfurter Allee. Change to subway line U5 bound for Alexanderplatz, and travel as far as Frankfurter Tor.

By train Take any train to Berlin’s Central Station (Hauptbahnhof). Change to suburban rail line S5, S7 or S75 bound for Straussberg, Ahrensfelde, or Wartenberg, and travel as far as Alexanderplatz. Change to subway line U5 bound for Honow and leave the train at Frankfurter Tor.

SECURITY ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST BE REGISTERED WITH THEIR FULL DETAILS SUBMITTED UPON REGISTRATION AND MUST WEAR THE CORRECT CREDITENTIALS

Prohibited Items

▪ Weapons of any kind or objects that appear to be weapons including toy weapons.

▪ Camera tripods and selfie sticks (hand-held extension poles for cameras and mobile devices).

▪ Suitcases – these must be stored at the venue Cloakroom located in the Boulevard area.

▪ Coolers or backpacks larger than 22” long x 15” wide x 18” high (54cm x 38cm x 46cm).

▪ Pets or other animals except approved service animals, which must remain on leash and with the owner at all times.

▪ Recreational devices such as drones, remote controlled toys or any conveyances with wheels other than a rolling briefcase bag or mobility device for a disabled individual.

▪ Glass containers

▪ Alcoholic beverages

▪ Hot food & drinks

Any other items that we determine may be harmful or disruptive.

Prohibited Activities

▪ The sale of goods or services or the display of good or services for sale.

▪ The distribution of printed or recorded materials of any kind.

▪ Unauthorized events, demonstrations or speeches, or the usage of any flag, banner or sign for commercial purposes, or to incite a crowd.

▪ Photography, videotaping or recording of any kind for commercial purposes or the recording of any portion of the stage program.

▪ Engaging in any unsafe act or other act that may impede or negatively impact the operation of the event or the enjoyment of the event by participants.

▪ We may photograph, film, videotape, record or otherwise reproduce the image and/or voice of any person who enters the event and use the same for any purpose without payment to any person.

▪ We reserve the right to deny entry, or to require a person already admitted to leave the event, without refund, liability or compensation if we consider that the circumstance so require.
