Images include construction and remediation projects in Boulder City, Nevada; including Hoover Dam, Lake Mead, and the surrounding recreation area. Also included are images of the Lost City Museum in Overton, Nevada and Fort Churchill in Lyon County, Nevada; construction of tourist facilities at the Valley of Fire in southern Nevada; and landscapes taken along the Colorado River in Arizona and Utah. Las Vegas, Nevada. ^ Return to Table of Contents Scope and Contents Note The United States National Park Service Photograph Collection is comprised of black-and-white photographic prints and negatives from approximately 1925 to 1950. Images include construction and remediation projects in Boulder City, Nevada; including Hoover Dam, Lake Mead, and the surrounding recreation area. Also included are images of the Lost City Museum in Overton, Nevada and Fort Churchill in Lyon County, Nevada; construction of tourist facilities at the Valley of Fire in southern Nevada; and landscapes taken along the Colorado River in Arizona and Utah.
