Abi Beckett (Orphan Ensemble) is 10 years old and loves making people laugh with her silly characters. Some of favorite roles have been Molly (Annie) and Gladys Herdman (The Best Christmas Pageant Ever). She has also performed in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat and Broadway Spectacular. Her hobbies are singing/acting, modeling, horse riding, and off-roading, and she loves Pugs.

Alex Contreras (Bert Healy, Morgenthau) is excited to be 'Bert Healy.’ Favorite Credits: The Lover (The Who's Tommy), Thomas (Making God Laugh), Wally (1940's Radio Hour), Ernst (Spring Awakening), Mr. (Seussical!), Brian (The Breakfast Club) and Audrey II - Puppeteer (Little Shop of Horrors). Alex also holds a Bachelor's Degree in Theatre (CSU San Marcos). “Smile darn ya smile.”

Annie Buchheit [boo’ kite] (Hooverville Ensemble-Woman 2 (Ruby), Ickes) is tickled by the coincidence that “Annie” is her first show at Patio. She thanks the director and her cast mates for this fun opportunity. Graduating with the JPCatholic class of 2018, she’ll portray Golde in this September and hopes you enjoy both shows.

Asia Myra (Lily) is making her Patio Playhouse debut in Annie. Asia, a graduate of Cal State University Northridge, has performed in over 400 shows singing, dancing, and acting, including performing alongside Chaka Kahn. Asia has also been an announcer for the Hollywood Christmas .

Bailee Coleman (Boylan Sister) is thrilled to make her Patio debut. Some of her past favorite roles include: Logainne (Spelling Bee), Chava (Fiddler on the Roof), and Babette (Beauty and the Beast). She'd like to thank her family, boyfriend, and for their endless support and the artistic team for this wonderful opportunity.

Ca’ia (Sandy) and is pronounced K I uh. I was rescued in October 2015 after my old owners left me all alone when they moved away. My new owners run an animal rescue, Howe-2 Care 4 Critters, and they gave me a loving home full of all types of animal friends to play with. This is only my second time on stage, both times playing Sandy, so I hope I follow my commands properly but if not, I hope you enjoy the show anyway. After the show, feel free to come up and greet me, I love meeting new friends! Carol Collins (Hooverville Ensemble-Woman 1 (Millie)) is happily making a return engagement with the Patio Playhouse, having been in productions in the previous century (remember the Vineyard?). Good to see the youth theatre so successful as it was only a suggestion in 1978. Great fun to be a part of the enthusiastic and talented cast of Annie!

Chara Ward (Hooverville Ensemble, NYC Ensemble) This is Chara's 1st Patio production. In her spare time, she may be found doing HIIT workouts, operating her counseling business, playing Mancala with her daughters, strumming on the guitar, singing with her acapella group, finding her husband's misplaced items, or trying to produce a meal without cooking.

Chris Gilardi (Drake) was born and raised in Redwood City, CA where he was able to grow his love of musicals and technology, acting in various shows like The Little Mermaid and Beauty and the Beast. This is Chris's second time in Annie, and second time playing Drake. Go SDSU Aztecs!

Coty Hitchcock (Hooverville Ensemble, NYC Ensemble) has been singing in ensembles for most of her life. Recent credits include: Songs of a Slave (MCP Carnegie Hall) and many seasons with the Center Chorale CCAE. She would like to thank her friends and family for their support in all her music accomplishments as well as the cast of Annie for such a fantastic time.

Eleanor “Elly” Moreau (Duffy) just turned 11 and will be a fifth grader at Sunset Hills Elementary School. She has been in Seussical as the Elephant Bird (when she was 3!) and last year as a Bird Girl and had the comic role of “Becky” in her 4th grade play. She has been in the chorus of Once on This Island, Annie, and . Elly enjoys horseback riding, swimming, and playing video games with her brother Michael.

Erica Randall (Star to be, Hooverville Ensemble, Cecille, Cabinet) is thrilled to once again share the stage alongside her dear Tirzah. Erica’s favorite past role has been that of . Faeyt-Aprieli Reasol (Molly) is honored to join this talented casts of Annie. She has appeared as a Whoville villager (The Grinch), Pat (Alice in Wonderland), and Dragon (Shrek the Musical Jr.) prior to being Molly the orphan. She invites you to join her theatrical journey in Instagram as @Faehr.eve where she shares behind the scene b-rolls, performing tips, and insights into the performing arts world. And...action! Geoffrey A. Cox (FDR) is pleased to be returning to the Kit Carson stage for another awesome summer. A veteran actor and director at Patio Playhouse, he previously directed and Beauty & the Beast. He was last seen on the Kit Carson stage in . He is the Artistic Director of Grand Façade Theatre Productions (@GFacadeTheatre).

Grayce Padilla (Orphan Ensemble)—Annie is Grayce’s first theater production. Grayce has a for soccer and plays year-round and also enjoys learning and performing Irish dancing. Grayce is 10 years old and will be in the 5th grade in the fall.

Jiana Perez (Orphan Ensemble, Usherette) is 13 years old. I am a freshman at Del Lago Academy High School. This is my first show with Patio Playhouse. Annie is the first show I saw in downtown San Diego. I am thrilled to be doing this show!

Jodi Villarreal (Sophie, Hooverville Ensemble, Cabinet (Hull), servant)—This is Jodi’s 4th production of Annie, twice having portrayed Grace, including last spring across from her daughter Tirzah as Annie. She is thrilled to be on stage again with her daughter, portraying some new characters for herself! Other favorite roles: Narrator (Joseph), Fantine (Les Mis), Winifred Banks (Mary Poppins), Kate/Lilly Vanessi (Kiss Me Kate) Lucy (Charlie Brown Christmas) and more.

John Frawley (Dog Catcher, Chauffeur, Judge Brandeis) is no veteran of the theatre...yet. He has performed with various musical groups in bygone days and now fancies acting. John enjoys chasing dogs, driving in uniform, and wearing a robe...and you should, too!

Josephine Hamernik (Orphan Ensemble, Hooverville Ensemble) is 12 years old and is delighted to be a part of Annie! Josie loves theatre and is so excited to be playing a role in her first production outside of school and camp. Her favorite role was Arista, a mersister in The Little Mermaid Jr earlier this year. She is thrilled to be part of the orphan ensemble and hopes you enjoy the show!

Julia Van Skike (Pepper)—Favorite past roles: Susan Walker in Miracle on 34th Street (SDMT), Children’s Ensemble for Little Mermaid (Moonlight Stage Productions). Other favorites include Pirates Past Noon and Tuck Everlasting (JT), Seussical and Little Shop of Horrors (Coronado Playhouse). Special thanks to the cast and crew of Annie! Kaivan Mohsenzadeh (Rooster) is excited to be making his debut on the Kit Carson stage for his second Patio Playhouse production! His previous credits include: Pirelli ( School Edition), Lucas (The Addams Family Musical) and Wolf/Steward (Into The Woods). Kaivan would like to thank his mentors, family, and girlfriend for their love and support.

Karen McLeod (Hooverville Ensemble, Wacky/Fred McCracken, Servant) is an active member of the theater community. Karen's previous roles include Tex in Little Mary Sunshine and Marcy in You're a Good Man Charlie Brown. In her spare time, she volunteers helping senior citizens.

Kendall Ratcliff (July)—This is Kendall’s first play with Patio, and she’s thrilled to be part of it! Her hobbies include writing fiction, reading, and (naturally) acting. Kendall thanks her family for their constant support and her grandmother for directing the play (Annie) that propelled her journey down this winding road of theatre.

Lauren Allen (Orphan Ensemble, NYC Ensemble) is 10 years old and this is her third production. Lauren performed the role of Mittens in Oliver!, as well as the role of Sarafina in Jr with Star Repertory Theater. In addition to acting and singing, Lauren also enjoys gymnastics and spending time with her friends and family.

Lendia Wylie (Kate) is delighted make her Patio Playhouse debut in this fun show! Favorite roles include Mary Beth in A Christmas Story: The Musical (Pickwick Players) and Gracie Shinn in The Music Man (Peter Pan Junior Theater). Thanks to Ms. Diane, Mama Brooks and the entire Patio Playhouse family!

Lenelle Wylie (Miss Hannigan) is a biology teacher and aquatics coach at Helix Charter High School in La Mesa. She is thrilled to make her Patio Playhouse debut with such a fantastic cast and crew. She was last seen in Coronado Playhouse's Little Shop of Horrors. Special thanks to her wonderful family!

Luke Allen (Hooverville Ensemble, NYC Ensemble) is 12 years old and this is his third production. Luke performed the role of Charley Bates in Oliver!, as well as the lead roles of Mufasa and Simba in the Lion King Jr with Star Repertory Theater. In addition to acting and singing, Luke also likes to play baseball. Luke will be going into 8th grade in the fall. Marina Hall (Tessie, Orphan dance captain) is happy to be making her Patio Playhouse debut. Previous shows include SDMT's Billy Elliot, Moonlight's The Little Mermaid, Cygnet's Death of a Late Summer Songbird, and JCompany's Annie and . Marina, 12, is also a ballet dancer and avid reader. She gives special thanks to voice teacher Karyn Overstreet.

Marshall Hartman (Police Man, Lieutenant Ward, Jimmy Johnson, Marine Guard) is a student at Palomar College. This is his first theater performance. He is a part-time employee at Legoland, holds a black belt in Okinawan karate, and plays piano. Marshall’s favorite plays include A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Deathtrap. He thanks Diane, Patio Playhouse, and his parents.

Martie Clark (Mrs. Greer, Hooverville Ensemble) is thrilled to be returning to the stage in Patio's production of Annie. Martie has spent the past few years developing a theatre program at Woodland Park Middle School. She is excited for what the future holds, including directing her first musical this spring.

Mary Allison Dunsmore (Boylan Sister, Hooverville Ensemble, Servant, NYC Ensemble) is delighted to be making her debut at Patio. She is a graduate of AMDA NY. Currently she is a teacher/choreographer for San Diego Civic Dance Company, and a member of their Young Adult Ensemble. Some of her credits include: (Moonlight), (Moonlight), My Fair Lady (Starlight), The Wizard of Oz (Starlight), and Disney Cruise Line. But her favorite role is "Mom" to 2 boys, Jason and Shaun. Matt Sayre (Oliver "Daddy" Warbucks) is excited to appear as in his third Patio Playhouse production. His previous two were and How To Succeed in Business Without Really Trying. Mat would love to thank his family and friends for their love and support!!! ENJOY THE SHOW!!!

Rae White (Grace) thanks her husband Matthew, and her friends and family, for supporting her in Annie; and gives all the glory to God. Past credits include Pygmalion (Clara), The Tempest (Miranda), and (Maria). Rae got her music degree from SDSU and teaches Performing Arts at Maranatha Christian. Rebecca Jeter (Boylan Sister, Hooverville Ensemble, Servant, NYC Ensemble) is so excited to be a part of Annie! This is her second performance with Patio, previously as Sylvia last year in the stage play Sylvia. She would like to thank her amazing husband Jared and her Xerxes for all the love and support. Always remember, you’re never fully dressed without a smile!

Reese McCulloch (Orphan Ensemble, Annie , Hooverville Ensemble) is 11 years old and going into 7th grade at La Mesa Arts Academy. Reese's most recent roles have been Cindy Lou in the Old Globe's How the Grinch Stole Christmas and Young Nala in Mt. Helix Academy's Lion King Jr. She loves singing, drawing, chocolate, and her . Most of all, she would like to thank the Patio Playhouse for this experience to be in this production of Annie!

Sandra Nava (Orphan Ensemble, NYC Ensemble) is 13 years old and is now a Freshman at Orange Glen High School. This is Sandra’s first ever show but she has had lots of experience in show choir. She is very thankful to be in this production of Annie as it is a great learning experience. She would really like to thank all of her friends and family for all of their love and support she has gotten from them and really hopes everyone enjoys the show!

Susan Prince (Pugh, Hooverville Ensemble) is honored to be playing Mrs. Pugh in Annie again and to be back at Patio after performing in Godspell and in the past. This will be her twelfth year performing in . Susan is thankful for such an awesome cast and all involved.

Tim Arends (Mr. Bundles, Hooverville Ensemble, Cabinet), NYC Ensemble)—Some highlights of Tim Arends’ 40 years in theater include: Barefoot in the Park, Footlight Frenzy (both USAFE Best Play winners), the original cast of A Dickens of an Evening, , The Music Man, Sleuth, I Remember Mama, Lil’ Abner, The Dining Room, Greetings, Oklahoma, Greater Tuna, and Yasmina Reza’s Art.

Tirzah Villarreal (Annie) first crawled on stage as Sandy the dog in Annie at 3. She went on to play Tessie the orphan and, last spring, Annie! She is thrilled to reprise the role in her first Patio Production. Other favorite roles: Jane Banks (Mary Poppins), Lucy (Charlie Brown’s Christmas), Young Fiona (Shrek) and Young Cosette (Les Mis), and more. Off stage Tirzah works professionally for commercial, print, and runway. William Fisher Jr. is 9 years old and in 4th grade. William is passionate about music, dancing, and singing. He was a member of Escondido Choral Arts program for a year and enjoyed a hip hop dance class last year. He was fortunate enough to play the role of Prince Harry in Patio Playhouse’s Princess Diana the Musical last year. He has played baseball and soccer for 5 years. A special thanks to Geoffrey A. Cox and to Victoria Silva-Davis for believing and encouraging William to continue his passion of singing and performing.

Zoe Carnot (orphan ensemble) is happy to make her Patio Playhouse debut. She has been performing musical theater since she was 7. Some of her favorite roles include Captain Bones in the Junior Theater production of Pirates Past Noon (Magic Treehouse) and Little Fiona in Shrek the Musical. Zoe would like to thank her amazing family, especially her mom, for their support and a special shout-out to her voice coach Karyn Overstreet and her long-time mentor BJ Robinson.

Diane Felthous (Director) has been performing her whole life. At 2 years old she was named America’s Youngest Parade Majorette, and at 5 years old was tap dancing on The Lawrence Welk Show. Diane began teaching dance at age 11 and from there went on to own and operate 4 Performing Arts Studios. She was Music Director of a Church for 17 yrs, on the Production Staff of a regional theater for 16 yrs. and was the Head dance teacher for the City of Vista. Diane has not only performed in numerous productions but has directed, choreographed, and/or musically directed numerous musicals. Among her favorites are The Wizard of Oz, li’l Abner, Annie Warbucks, The Music Man, , Bye, Bye, Birdie, and Patio Playhouse’s production of , for which she won an Aubrey Award for musical direction. You can see Diane dancing her way through 3 movies and performing with Barbra Streisand, Dick Van Dyke, Louie Armstrong, Lee Marvin, Michael Crawford, Clint Eastwood, and many more. Her favorite accomplishments are performing on a Meredith Wilson TV special, teaching piano for The Fabulous Baker Boys, and being directed by Gene Kelly. Diane’s favorite productions are her daughters Heidi, Charna, and Kelly. She is currently a voice and piano teacher and is active in all music groups at Grace Presbyterian Church in Vista. Diane would like to thank Patio Playhouse, Jayne & Pat, and the AMAZING cast and crew of Annie.

Becky Brooks (Musical Director) has been involved in music is some capacity since she was 6 years old and started piano lessons. She has been in the pit, on the boards, doing tech, costumes, teaching, a traveling musician, special guest artist and her favorite role to date — Grandma Becky to Ryder and Kaia.

November 16-December 16, Patio Playhouse on Kalmia A world-premiere musical from Luann comic strip creator Greg Evans, Quibbling Siblings is paired with his earlier musical, A Boy and a Girl, for a double dose of laughter and fun. Performed in repertory, the two delightful shows explore the bonds of love and family.
