Scope and Content Note The papers of Sol Myron Linowitz (1913-2005) span the years 1778-1999, with the bulk of the material concentrated in the period 1946-1995. The collection covers virtually every phase of Linowitz's career and is organized in the following series: Diaries, Correspondence File, Government Service, General Office File, Haloid Xerox, Inc., Speeches and Writings File, Miscellany, Classified, and Oversize. The Diaries are a key component of the papers and provide an account of Linowitz's activities as an attorney, executive for Xerox
