She will give us insight into her business and how it helps many organisations across the UK in supporting their employees' mental and physical wellbeing. Grace will speak about how she maintains her wellbeing and tips on how you can support your mental and physical wellbeing during this time. We’re looking for young people to come along to our events and clubs so they could participate in activities and workshops relevant to their age, location and lifestyle. We’ll also be talking about our volunteering opportunities. We will use fun and interactive ways to show the connection between physical activity and mental wellbeing. Wycombe Mark Heath and Key Theme: Health, Sports, Education 16+ 11:55am - Wanderers Georgia In this session, we’ll be talking about all the great 12:15pm Sports & opportunities we offer for young people. These are outlined Education Trust below: Health: Fit Fans: 12 week programme designed to create healthier lifestyles through classroom based learning and physical activity sessions (over 35) Fit Xtra: Weekly session to work on physical fitness levels in participants (over 18) KMF: Mental health based sessions such as yoga, indian clubs, and wellbeing walks to support people on their mental health journeys (over 18) Doorsteppers: Tackles isolation in older people by offering a befriending service to those in need, of any age. Education: Adult Education Opportunities Upcoming courses Volunteering opportunities for young people up to 25 years of age, including coaching. Sports Participation/Kicks: Girls Active (Wednesday), free football sessions for 12 to 18 year olds at High Crest on a Friday Free football (Friday and Saturday), at cressex for 13 to 18 year olds. Action 4 Youth Megan Boyce Key Theme: Wellbeing, volunteering 16-17 12:15pm Action4Youth is the delivery partner for the NCS (National – Citizen Service) programme in Bucks, Slough and Milton 12:35pm Keynes; we will be sharing information on this programme to the young people and details on how they can sign up for summer 2021. The experience is all about emboldening young people, by giving them the buzz of being an adult (without all the responsibilities). On NCS, participants live away from home and get a taste of independence. They mix with a new crowd of people and take on exciting challenges together. The experience helps young people to develop skills that will set them up for life after school. Participants then get a chance to use these new-found skills, by tackling a passion project of their choosing. NCS is dedicated to providing a platform for young people where they can speak up and get their voice heard and tackle real world issues close to home. Tool Shed David Lett Key Themes: Apprenticeships, employment, training, 16-24 12:35pm- enterprise, wellbeing and further/higher education 12:55pm How employers find new employees: • Top three employer goals when they are employng a new person • The process employers follow to employ a new person • Why networking is the fastest way to get into employment • How to use networking to get the job you want Cloudy Group David Hall Key Theme: Young People and Digital Education 16+ 12:55 – David Hall, MD of Cloudy Group Ltd and Chairman of 1:15pm Cloudy Foundation will be talking about the Cloudy Foundation, a new charity that recently launched with a focus on investing in young people’s digital education for business and community. The Cloudy Foundation runs a number of virtual and local projects with students up and down the country and charities and schools throughout the region. Khepera CIC Charmaine Key Theme: Employment, volunteering 16-25 1:15pm – Charmaine will be talking about the Kickstarter programme 1:35pm for those on benefits (16-25’s) and volunteering opportunities to gain experience in admin, social media, design, kitchen assistant and cooking sectors. She’ll also talk about the importance of self-care for safeguarding your future health! High Profile Sahar Hechme Sahar is a Video Editor for High Profile Magazine London. All ages 1:35pm – Magazine She’ll be talking about how to be a Freelancer and its 1:55pm London benefits. He has spent 10:20pm over 40 years as a screen writer, working on some of the most well- known UK dramas that still appear on our screens today including; EastEnders, Holby City, The Bill, Casualty, Silent Witness and Waking the Dead. He is the executive producer at Sanctuary Films and he will be talking about TV, media and production. National Film and Television Joe Bradbury-Walters Key Themes: TV, media, games All 10:20am – School (NFTS) 10:35am This session will be an introduction to the NFTS. We will help you discover the broad range of behind the camera courses covering everything from entry requirements to the support available. We will discuss the career pathways these courses can lead to and highlight our graduate successes. The school also runs an outreach scheme called Access NFTS, so we will draw your attention to any upcoming events where you learn more about careers in the Film, TV and Games industry, meet staff and students of the school and hopefuly come to visit us at the studios. Matthias, will be publicly launching the Cloudy Enterprise Academy and announcing that limited spaces will be made available for students to join the academy to work on a specific programme. Independent and work ready Karen Yates Key Theme: Wellbeing, 14-25+ 10:55am – CIC volunteering, Internship 11:15am Karen will be offering virtual work experience for young people interested in product designing, adult life and will also provide information on what support is available for young people with disabilities. Buckinghamshire Skills Hub Marina Jackson Key Theme: Employment and All 11:15am – careers 11:35am We would like to demonstrate our new Bucks Skills Show website. The site is for young people and adults and aims to be a one-stop-shop for careers information in Buckinghamshire.
