Neuropsychologist for the Minneapolis site of the Defense and Veterans Head Injury Program (DVHIP), a national, collaborative DoD-DVA evaluation, treatment, and research program servicing active duty personnel, their dependents, and veterans. The Minneapolis TBI Program is CARF accredited in both General and TBI inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation. The first two years of clinical work were under the supervision/mentorship of Dr. Sandra Lundgren, ABPP/ABCN to complete post-doctoral training. Duties included providing clinical neuropsychological evaluation and consultation to patients and their families as a member of the inpatient and outpatient interdisciplinary teams; collaboration with other DVHIP sites in generation of research projects for presentation and publication; and assisting in psychology intern and neuropsychology postdoctoral-level training/supervision and medical resident training. Training included attending weekly neurology grand rounds at Jackson Memorial Hospital/University of Miami School of Medicine, /neuropathology presentations, weekly neuropsychology case conferences both within the VAMC’s Neuropsychology Section and the Neuropsychology Division of the Department of Neurology at the Miami School of Medicine, Bonnie Levin, PhD, Director.
