DRINKING SOY MILK DAILY DESTROYS YOUR THYROID, CAUSES BRAIN DAMAGE AND KIDNEY STONES

1.Soybeans contain large quantities of natural toxins or “”.

Soybeans are dangerously high in natural toxins called anti-nutrients. In fact, just two glasses of soy milk daily can alter a woman’s natural monthly cycle.

2. Soy milk contains goitrogens which block the synthesis of thyroid hormones and interfere with iodine metabolism. A 1991 study revealed that eating only 2 tablespoons of soy a day for 3 months caused thyroid suppression. (Nippon Naibunpi Gakkai Zasshi 1991, 767: 622- 629)!

3. Soy has been found to increase the body’s need for vitamin B12 and .

4 Soybeans alsoalso contain haemagglutinin, a clot-promoting substance that causes your red blood cells to clump.

5. 90% of soy is genetically modified.

6. Soybeans and soy products contain extremely high levels of phytic , which interferes with the absorption of calcium, , copper, iron, and zinc.

7 Soy contains a substance that resembles vitamin B12 which cannot be processed by your body. This is why most people that eat soy daily are Vitamin B12 deficient.

8. Soy is really high in , which are plant compounds that act like estrogens in the body. Several animal studies (here and here) found that soy phytoestrogens can cause breast cancer.

9. Soy contains aluminum. Aluminum has been linked to Alzheimer’s disease and has a damaging effect on the kidneys.

This is a very prejudiced, poorly researched, and inaccurate article. The culprits in soy are in isolated soy products. Soy milk is not this. Where is this aluminium coming from, what are these “natural toxins,” why do you accuse organic non-gmo products (like Milk in the picture represented) of being genetically modified, what high temperatures, etc? Soy milk is not produced at greatly high temperatures, but temperatures just high enough to destroy the “antinutrients” you mentioned. Plant estrogens can be healthy for you. The list goes on and on. I make my own soy milk from organic, non-gmo (like Laura Beans) and it is not an unhealthy product.

Elizabeth! I’ve done a lot of research on soy. Take a look at these studies:http://cebp.aacrjournals.org/content/5/10/785.short https://academic.oup.com/ajcn/article/68/6/1431S/4666231https://www.westonaprice.org/health- topics/soy-alert/studies-showing-adverse-effects-of-dietary-soy-1939-2008/

Elizabeth, you arer not a breast cancer survivor! Those of us with the BRCA gene KNOW soy mimics estrogen which flips on this aggressive breast cancer gene. Soy is deadly and should be avoided. Anya thank you for your article.

Hi I have also lost my mom when she was 50 due to breast cancer. And being her daughter aged 45 I m terrified about breast cancer. Can someone show me the correlation between diary products to breast cancer and papers written about it. I dont consume soy products but I do consume milk and diary products. Anya thank you for all the valuable info

Hi Cagla! I am sorry to hear about your mom. Organic grass fed dairy products do not cause cancer. If you do consume dairy, it’s better to go with fermented dairy such as kefir or plain !

Hi Lin! Unfortunately, these are still soy beans. If you do decide to consume soy beans, make sure they are fermented. The fermentation process gets rid of all those anti nutrients.

Someone please explain to me how soy does not affect huge populations in Asia (where i lived and worked for a couple of years). Most asians live off soy beans, soy milk, tofu, soy . Its in their vegetarian used to substitute the use of animal products. They are not plaqued as we westerners are with cancer and chronic diseases. Well they were not previously. Now that fast food chains have made their way to Asia, you can see more of them suffering from obesity and western diseases.

Just thinking out loud here!!!

I agree with Deerdre and Aruna. I lived in 3 years and ate lots of Soya products. Also many years later. I understand that for breast cancer survivors, it is phytooestregenuc and should be avoided; I agree with the organic dairy and fermented products. I do not Soya milk which is sweetened and taste really chalky. But I think edamame is healthy, everything in moderstion; otherwise how could you explain all Asians not developing thyroid issues and other cancers? They also eat seaweed, lots of fish, reduced animal and ..
