Fee ticket packets for the Women’s Games would be part of the Club’s ticket mailing for 2019-20. Apparently use of the Arena’s Ice House during the women’s games will not happen as it can’t be cleaned and made ready for clients watching the men’s game later that same day.

Cowan noted that the Club’s budget year for 2018-19 began July 1, 2019 and ends June 30, 2020. It was noted that championship rings have been encumbered for $12,284 (WCHA Conference Championship) and championship watches (for WCHA Tournament Championship) have been purchased ($2,802.33 to date). $10 Holiday Coupons were redeemed at the Barnes & Noble Bookstore sales table in the Civic Center for $4,080.

Membership Renewals – June 27th Chankaska Creek Ranch & Winery Social Event Switched to Civic Center Jason Beal reported that the response to the invite to meet men and women hockey team players was huge forcing a change in venue from Chankaska Creek Ranch and Winery to the Civic Center’s Performing Arts Center space with round tables and chairs for upwards of 400 Club members. Club members who were invited are those who have indicated that they will renew their Club membership with at least a $50 down-payment. The “social” is being planned for Thursday, June 27, 2019, from 5:30 PM to 7 PM with a quick program starting at 6 PM. This June date allows for the men and women hockey players to be in town and join us.

Dan Meyer Memorial Blue Line Club Golf Classic Date – July 22, 2019, Monday Board members were reminded that July 22, 2019 is the date for the Dan Meyer Memorial Golf Classic held out at the Mankato Golf Club. Hole sponsorships are being solicited by Assistant Coach Darren Blue.

Social Media Presence Limited Coach Mike Hastings asked the Board for its support in enlarging the social media’s presence for men’s and women’s hockey. Should the Blue Line Club pay for a weekly press conference highlighting recent games and

3 future contests? Should we ask Bethany College what it would take to enhance different views – more cameras, video staffers? Costs for more cameras and cable could easily top $72,000, and nothing is yet budgeted in the Club’s Operating Account.

Conference Championship Rings and WCAH Tournament Championship Watches Board members were informed by Coach Hastings that it would be a $16,000 combined tab for the 2019 WCHA Conference Championship (MacNaughton Cup) win February 23rd against Fairbanks and the March 23 WCHA Tournament Championship (Jeff Sauer Trophy) “miracle” win against .

Adjournment Without objection the meeting be adjourned 5:15 PM.
