The Department offers Two Years Post Graduate Programme with four semesters in Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) pattern. From the academic year 2015-17 the course nomenclature was changed to “M.A. Journalism and Mass Communication” duly adhering to the guidelines issued by the University Grants Commission, New Delhi.
