The National Service Scheme was launched by Government of India, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports in the year 1969. From inception, NSS volunteers have been providing services to uplift of Indian society. NSS provides diversified opportunities to the students in colleges and universities to develop their personality through various community services and programmes. NSS Cell of Yogi Vemana University has been enthusiastically involving in the conducting of activities for the welfare of the society.
