    Partner der Berlin-Liga Der 09.11.1981 ist für Berlin ohne Zweifel ein historisches Datum. Wir alle haben noch immer die Bilder vor Augen, wie mutige Menschen für Recht auf Freiheit demonstrieren. Die Mauer fiel und durch die Wiedervereinigung mussten auch die beiden Stadtteile zusammenwachsen. Der Berliner Fußball musste neuorganisiert werden. Im Jahre 1991 wurde die damalige Verbandsliga (die heutige Berlin-Liga) gegründet und startete im Jahr 1992. Geprägt wurde die ARGE Berlin-Liga zweifelsohne von Walter Zain ( 26.02.2016). Er war bis im Jahr 2004 die führende Person dieser Spielklasse (ARGE Vorstandsvorsitzender). Im Jahre 2004 sagte er „ Ich gebe das Zepter in jüngere Hände weiter“, mit Hans “Teddy“ Schumann hat die ARGE einen neuen Vorsitzender erhalten, der sich weiter um die Berlin-Liga, Berlins höchster Spielklasse, mit unermüdlichen Einsatz bis heute bemüht. Es starteten folgende Vereine in der neuen eingleisigen Spielklasse: 1.FC Wilmersdorf, BSV Spindlersfeld, SSC Teutonia 1899, 1.FC Wacker Lankwitz, FC Wannsee, Köpenicker SC, SC Wacker 04, SC Staaken, SC SW Spandau, SC Rapide Wedding, Frohnauer SC, SG Eumako Weißensee, SV Tasmania 73 Gropiusstadt, SV Lichtenberg 47 sowie SC Gatow. Im 1.Spieljahr wurde auch das erste Hallenturnier in der Charlottenburger Sporthalle Sömmeringstr. durchgeführt und ist bis heute das Traditionsturnier dieser Spielklasse.
