Live Music Performances Planned for Yucaipa Music and Arts Festival
The 8th annual Yucaipa Music and Arts Festival is on Friday, May 7th and Saturday, May 8th in
Historic Uptown Yucaipa. There will be 2 stages showcasing live music throughout the Festival: Uptown
Park at the Yucaipa Performing Arts Center (YPAC) and the California St. Stage on California St. near
Avenue A. Biographies for each artist and performance times are as follows:
FRIDAY MAY 7th, 2021
California St. Stage
• 6:00PM – 9:30 PM : Yucaipa Rockin Youth Studio & San Bernardino Teen Music
Workshop
Our very own Yucaipa Rockin Youth Studio (YRYS) is ready to hit the stage Friday night with a
variety of songs they have been practicing during their Winter/Spring session. The YRYS classes
operate year-round at the YPAC, helping local youth grow into experienced musicians. The San
Bernardino Teen Music Workshop (SBTW) is an award-winning, highly skilled performance
group that has performed throughout Southern California in venues such as the Disneyland
Resort, Knott's Berry Farm, and county fairs. The program is comprised of approximately 250
students from 6-12th grades and provides professional instruction in percussion, guitar, bass,
keyboards, dance, and vocal performance in a variety of pop, soul, and rock musical styles.
Don’t miss both groups and their outstanding performances throughout the evening!
Uptown Park Outdoor Stage
• 6:00PM: Femme Halen Based in Southern California, Femme Halen is the hottest all-female tribute to the early years of
Van Halen (1978 – 1984). Femme Halen captures the essence of Van Halen’s legacy as the
most entertaining, ground-breaking band of their time. Their hard rock, musical ride includes
tracks off Van Halen’s first album as well as hits from later albums, spanning David Lee Roth’s
flamboyant and popular time with the band. These four ladies will bring the high energy of the
iconic 80’s to the stage for everyone to enjoy!
• 8:30PM: Aeromyth
Formed in 2007 and hailed worldwide as, “The Ultimate Aerosmith Tribute Experience,”
Aeromyth have defined themselves through impeccable live performance re-creations, uncanny
physical likeness and experienced musicianship. The band’s objective mission is “to suspend
disbelief while remaining true to the undeniable spirit of America’s greatest Rock band.”
SATURDAY MAY 8th, 2021
California St. Stage
• 12:00PM: Retroblast
These local gentlemen perform with passion, respect, and admiration: the greatest songs in rock
music history.
• 2:30PM: District 909
The District 909 is a 4-piece acoustic band that plays a wide range of songs from the 60’s, 70’s,
80’s and present day, adding their own unique, soulful twist to the sound.
• 5:00PM: North Benched
Local jazz ensemble from Yucaipa’s own North Bench will close our Saturday night with some
smooth musical stylings.
Uptown Park Outdoor Stage
• 4:30PM: Westward Sons This local group combine SoCal style with Nashville soul to bring a fresh take on today’s pop-
• 7:30PM: Temecula Road
Between its three-part harmony and signature mandolin, Temecula Road bandmembers
Dawson Anderson and sisters Emma and Maddie Salute boast stage credits worldwide: from
Stagecoach Festival to C2C: Country to Country Festival in London. The rising country trio’s
talents received a standing ovation at their Grand Ole Opry debut in November 2019 and plan
to release new music in 2021.
• 8:30PM: LOCASH
Creating a sound that fuses modern Country and classic heartland rock with an edgy vocal blend,
LOCASH is the Country music duo made up of singer-songwriters Chris Lucas and Preston
Brust. With two albums and eight charting singles to their credit, LOCASH broke out in 2015 with
their gold-certified hit, “I Love This Life," and have continued to produce wholesome country hits
ever since. LOCASH is the headlining act of the 8th Annual Music and Arts Festival and VIP
section tickets have already sold out to locals. The show will still provide plenty of general
admission standing room, free-of-charge.
