6 U18s selected for North Division and final trial for England Counties

6 young Lancastrians have been selected to play for the North Division in February against Midlands at Dudley Kingswinsford RUFC. This match is in effect a final trial, with successful selected players going on to be members of the England Counties U18 squad that will play in Ireland in March. The delighted Lancashire players are Jack Granby, & Tarleton RUFC Connor Johnson, Myerscough College & Blackburn RUFC Henry Pearson, Kirkham & Fylde RUFC Tom Shorrock, Merchant Taylors, Crosby & Waterloo RUFC Sam Stott, Lancaster Royal Grammar School & Vale of Lune RUFC Wade Williams, Sedbergh School & Waterloo RUFC

In addition, Callum Bolton from Myerscough College has been identified as a non-travelling reserve

In the past four years Lancashire have been represented at England Counties U18 level by at least three players, and we would like to think this trend will continue in 2017.
