  • Chasing Cars by Snow Patrol
CHASING CARS BY SNOW PATROL What is the meaning of this song, and its lyrics for me? Well, I think that there is something special in the way that word's from a song can inspire me. It may not be the reason the song lyrics were intended to be interpreted, but they hold special meaning to me. You know that way, when you hear the music and you stop, the memories still vivid in your mind, whether they are happy or sad, the use of words or melody carrying you away to that special place. In the case of Chasing cars, I could say that the first time that I heard Chasing cars was in the school, at that time I didn't know which was the translation of the song because I wasn't interest in English. However, when I heard it, I felt many things at the same time; one of those things was inspired by the tone of voice of the Snow patrol’s vocalist Gary Lightbody. "Chasing Cars" is the second single from Snow Patrol's When I heard this song in the voice of Gary, I recognized a fourth album, Eyes Open. It story behind, maybe a love story or even an advice given to was recorded in 2005 and him by someone or perhaps a special moment for him to released on 6 June 2006 in the US and 24 July 2006 in remember. But how a singer can transmit so different the UK as the album's second meanings just in simple lyrics of a song? ingle Sincerely, I don't know, but songs like Chasing cars with rhythms of Alternative rock, folk rock, power pop and a little bit of Britpop were so popular during the end of 90's and early 2000 due to its sound, its social context, and its regional roots were innovative for its time; Many of those popular songs in 2000 had similar characteristics with Snow Patrol’ Song, some of them are ''Dani California'' by Red Hot Chilli Papers, ''Lips of an angel'' by Hinder and some other bands like Nickelback, Breaking Benjamin and Goo Goo Dolls.

He poured out a third drink that was larger by a finger than the first and second. Baldy was in consultation; and the consultee is worthy of his hire. "I'd be king if I was you," said Baldy, so positively that his holster creaked and his spurs rattled. Webb Yeager pushed back his flat-brimmed Stetson, and made further disorder in his straw-coloured hair. The tonsorial recourse being without by O. Henry 3 avail, he followed the liquid example of the more resourceful Baldy. "If a man marries a queen, it oughtn't to make him a two-spot," declared Webb, epitomising his grievances. "Sure not," said Baldy, sympathetic, still thirsty, and genuinely solicitous concerning the relative value of the cards. "By rights you're a king.

  • Jacknife Lee
Jacknife Lee It is fair to say that Jacknife Lee has become one of the most sought after and highly influential producers currently at work. Lee’s career has encompassed work with some of the biggest and most influential artists on both sides of the Atlantic in the shape of Taylor Swift, U2, R.E.M., Kasabian, Robbie Williams and Neil Diamond. His work on U2’s “How To Dismantle An Atom Bomb” saw him collect two Grammy Awards in 2006 as well as Producer of the Year at the UK MMF Awards. He was also again Grammy nominated in 2013 for his work on Swift’s multi-million selling album “Red.” Currently working on what looks set to be the biggest album from Scottish alt-rock heroes Twin Atlantic and the debut album from The Gossip’s Beth Ditto, Lee has also produced a handful of tracks on Jake Bugg’s upcoming third album and is just about to commence work with Two Door Cinema Club after their successful collaboration on Beacon two years previously. In 2014, Lee was honoured to be asked to co-produce Neil Diamond’s “Melody Road” album alongside the tremendously talented Don Was. “Melody Road” debuted at #3 in America and #4 in the UK as it received universal critical acclaim. Lee has gained much recognition as a writer producer over the last five years. In 2014 also Lee co write and produced various singles for Kodaline’s second album “Coming Up For Air” which peaked at #2, while he also produced and co-wrote Twin Atlantic’s Radio 1 A-listed singles “Heart and Soul” and “Brothers and Sisters.” In addition, Lee spent some of the year writing and producing track for alternative urban artist Raury.

Crack!”– swept over the Canadian taiga, rolling back from the mountainsides and making a large black bear raise its head in irritation, while a herd of startled caribou galloped for a minute aimlessly before coming to rest again. The sources of the booms were two fighter aircraft, a stubby Phantom pursued by a slender pencil-shaped Starfighter, both of which by that time had already reached the narrow valleys which split the hills around Goose Bay. “All right, Aldi, you had it coming!” the pilot of the sleek Starfighter exclaimed, as he zig-zagged behind the Phantom through the maze of canyons they had entered by now. He flipped a switch on his control stick which armed the cannons, but then he gave a little curse because he had lost his focus on navigating the plane for a fraction of a second, and had nearly crashed into an outcrop of rock. “That’ll be the day,” the other pilot radioed back with a peculiar German accent and the slightes indication of a laugh. He gave the control stick of his Phantom a jerk, and the plane with the German Luftwaffe’s “Iron Cross” on it rolled sharply to the right where an even narrower canyon branched off their valley.
