Margaret Rwabushaija, MP Workers to ask the Minister of Public Service the following: 3 In the budget for FY 2018/19, Parliament appropriated money for salary enhancement for teachers in post Primary Sub Sector; these included teachers in Secondary Schools, Teacher Colleges and Tertiary Institutions. How far has the Ministry gone in harmonizing the teachers’ salaries? b) Qn. 86/04/10 Hon. Muheirwe Daniel, MP Buhaguzi County to ask the Minister of Education and Sports the following: Government sponsored Secondary Schools in Kikuube district namely; Buhimba Secondary School, Kabwoya Senior Secondary School, Bugambe Secondary School, Kyangwali Secondary School and Munteme Fatima College face a number of challenges including poor infrastructure, inadequate staffing, absence of girl’s hostels, office blocks and staff rooms, poor sanitary facilities, inadequate computer laboratories with the available one being inadequately equipped. In addition, Kyangwali Sub-County in Kikuube district has only one government secondary school which is in Kyangwali Refugee settlement camp. The school can barely accommodate the high number of refugees and nationals in the area. Accessibility to the school also poses a problem given the vast size of the Sub-county; which in turn negatively affects attendance and retention of students in school. Why the existing Government Secondary Schools in Kikuube district are poorly facilitated and underst affed? 12.
