E' questo il motto della “Festa dei Motori – Demoliotion Derby” che tornerà ad animare Villareggia (To), un paese tra la provincia di Torino e quella di Vercelli, nelle giornate di sabato 22 e domenica 23 luglio 2017. Sette edizioni per un evento che è nato da una passione che condividevano alcuni amici (fondatori poi dell'associazione “Controsenso Villareggese”) per le automobili e per le gare “folli” e che è diventato una vera istituzione per gli appassionati di motori, tanto da attirare l'attenzione dei produttori di Sky Uno, che lo scorso anno hanno deciso di ambientare una gara del format Top Gear Italia proprio nel circuito villareggese. L’evento si svolge a Villareggia , in provincia di Torino, e a due passi dal vercellese, e affascina molti appassionati, ma soprattutto incuriosisce per la sua particolarità ed unicità. Il Demolition Derby ha raggiunto, infatti, una popolarità così grande da ospitare la terza puntata del format Top Gear Italia , in onda su Sky Uno. Come per gli anni passati, la manifestazione si svolge in una due giorni ricca d’intrattenimento, dove i motori la fanno da padroni e dove gli ospiti sono al tempo stesso osservatori e protagonisti dell’evento. Le regole d'iscrizione al Demolition Derby sono semplici ed essenziali: è necessaria una visita medica agonistica che certifichi l'idoneità a partecipare alla gara e l'automobile deve essere “spogliata” di ogni parte fragile e potenzialmente pericolosa per il pilota e gli avversari (vetri, fari ed interni) .
