BELGIAN COLTS SOLD “ELIGIBLE TO REGISTER” Due to concern expressed over Belgian colts being sold through auctions as “eligible to register” and the diffi culty of the buyer to obtain completed paper- work after the sale, the Mid-Ohio Draft Horse Sale has issued the following statement: That anyone consigning an animal to an auction as “eligible to register” furnish the auction with the completed registration and transfer applications prior to the sale and that any consignor not doing so have their animal sold as a grade.

Transformers Timelines Presents: THE DARK HEART OF SANDOKAN (formerly known as - The Black Sea of Sandokan) by Benson Yee Art by Jake Isenberg and Thomas Deer (Please check out Issue #13 of the Hasbro Transformers Collectors’ Club Magazine for the PROLOGUE to this story.) CHAPTER ONE The inky blackness of space was pierced by the fluid form of the Decepticon pirate ship Kalis’ Lament. Shaped like a gigantic cephalopod, the vessel did not push through space so much as it glided. Its silent movement through space was reflected on its bridge, where its crew attended to their duties in silence and complete, utter boredom. Alarms suddenly brought the crew out of their near catatonic state. The ship’s resident scientist, Brushguard was the first to report. “One of our probes is returning. I’m downloading its logs now.” The ship’s first officer, Skywarp nodded. “Put it up on the screen.” he said, eager to see what was in the probe’s logs. The Lament’s probes were periodically dispatched to nearby solar systems to locate possible targets to plunder for riches and resources. Often they returned with very little worth pursuing, but now and then they would find targets ripe for the taking. That fact alone made every probe’s return an exciting event. The probe’s log began to play back on the screen. Every member of the crew looked at the main view screen. It played a recording of the attack on the Star Arrow along with several power level readings from the ship. A more invasive scan brought up an image of the Force Chip on the screen.

Red Hulk - Marvel Universe Wiki: The definitive online source for Marvel super hero bios. 5/20/13 11:00 PM Red Hulk As a young man, Thaddeus Ross enlisted in the military and received his nickname from his troops because he "struck like a thunderbolt" when leading them into action. Now he has become the very thing he hated most in life. He is the Red Hulk. Military Man General Thaddeus E. Ross was born into a family with a proud tradition of military ser- vice. Both his father and his grandfather served heroically in past American wars. As a boy Thaddeus immersed himself in military history, and he learned how to fly by barn- storming at country fairs. When he came of age Ross enlisted in the military, graduating first in his class at West Point. He married Karen Lee, the daughter of his commanding officer at the time. Ross rapidly rose in rank to captain and then major while serving in his first war. Ross made a great reputation as a leader in combat, but after the war, he was stationed at the nu- clear research facility at Los Alamos, New Mexico. There he met nuclear physicist Brian Banner, the father of Robert Bruce Banner. Ross had risen to the rank of colonel by the time he was sent to his next war, during which he became a general in the U.S. Air Force (Ross never rose beyond three-star gen- eral). As he gloried in combat, he was dissatisfied with the "desk jobs" he was given be- fore and after the war.

The Lethal Legion and the Black Order are their chess pieces, and they’re fi ghting to claim Pyramoids, which wreak elemental havoc on their surroundings. Most of the world’s heroes and villains have been trapped in stasis to limit the number of “designated obstacles,” leaving behind only a handful of Avengers as the planet’s last line of defense. With the title of “Grandmaster” on the line, the two competitors are pulling out all the stops to secure the fi nal Pyramoid. The Challenger has unleashed his resurrected Hulk, but the Grandmaster had the game rigged from the start: Voyager, the lost founding Avenger who brought Earth’s heroes so much hope, is his daughter, and has been using her false identity to tip the odds in her father’s favor. But Voyager is tired of doing the Grandmaster’s bidding, and she teleported the last Pyramoid into the vault of the Avengers Auxiliary Headquarters and locked herself inside, hoping to turn the tables on her father--but the Hulk followed her. McDermott Introduction By the mid-1970’s, many fans of the “Golden Age” of comic books had grown up to become writers and ultimately editors for the comics publishers, sometimes setting the nar- rative histories for their favorite childhood characters themselves. Many of these fans-turned- pro produced comics series that attempted to recapture the Golden Age’s excitement, patriotic fervor and whiz-bang attitude. The most successful of these titles were produced by Roy Thomas, who fashioned a coherent history of costumed heroes during World War II, and rec- onciled the wildly inconsistent stories of the 1940’s with tightly patrolled continuity initiated with the “Silver Age” of the 1960’s. With The Invaders (1975-1979), Thomas focused on the hitherto unrevealed wartime exploits of Marvel Comics’ early mainstays Captain America, the Human Torch, and Prince Namor, the Sub-Mariner. In 1980, he moved to DC Comics and launched All-Star Squadron, which juggled the histories of the Justice Society of Amer- ica and nearly a hundred secondary characters.
