Volunteer Camera Registry Program As many of you already know, our Glen Carbon Police Department would like the public's help in fighting crime by taking part in a Voluntary Camera Registry Program. This program allows residents and businesses to register the locations of their outdoor video surveillance systems with Glen Carbon Investigators. When a crime occurs, police will be able to identify the locations of nearby video cam- eras and enlist the assistance of the community to help officers collect video evidence and follow up on leads. To register your cameras, visit the Glen Carbon website Police Department page or call 288- 7226. I have registered my family’s residential outdoor video surveillance camera and encourage others resi- dents to do so as well. By registering, this does NOT allow the police department to access your video camera. The registration only registers the location of a potential camera and they will contact you to enlist your help and follow up on leads. You can always remove your registration for any reason. If you have not already done so, please sign up to receive Glen Carbon Vmails via the Village web- site: www.glen-carbon.il.us. As always, if you have any questions regarding the Village or would like to join a Committee or Commission, please do not hesitate to call me at 288-2609 or email me at [email protected]. 3 JUNE 19th & 20th, 2020 CARNIVAL GAMES & RIDES BEER GARDEN WITH DOMESTIC BEER, HARD LEMONADE, AND CRAFT BEER HUGE VARIETY OF FOOD & REFRESHMENTS **FRIDAY, JUNE 19th from 5 PM-MIDNIGHT** FEATURED BAND Dirty Muggs **SATURDAY, JUNE 20th from 5 PM- MIDNIGHT** Covered Bridge Run 5K FEATURED BAND Platinum Rock Legends 4 G.L.E.N.
