Local ANZAC Day Services

ENFIELD 6:15am Enfield RSL 1 Fitzgerald Ave, Enfield Prospect Service SA KILBURN 6.30am must stay open! Kilburn RSL 2 Way St, Kilburn The recent election result in the seat of Enfield sent a clear message to the Marshall Liberal Government. South Australians rely on Service SA centres to access essential services and closing Prospect will seriously impact local residents. NORTHFIELD 6.15 am The number of transactions conducted by Prospect Service SA continues to grow, with more than 105,000 customers served in 2017/18, making it the third busiest Northfield RSL centre in SA. Peter Brown Drive, Over 15,000 South Australians have already signed the petition to keep these Northfield centres open and I will continue to fight and put pressure on the Liberal Government to reverse its decision. PROSPECT A Malinauskas Labor Government has 6.00am announced it will reverse the decision to Memorial Gardens close Prospect Service SA and conduct a Menzies Cres, Prospect review into what additional government services could be provided. Labor will also review staffing levels and operating CITY hours to better align with customer 6.00am needs. South Australian National War Memorial North Tce, Adelaide 3

Fosters Road The Liberals just don’t get it Throughout the by-election campaign I heard time and again that the Fosters Road/North East Road intersection had to be fixed. The Liberals led by committed to installing traffic lights at the intersection prior to the 2018 State Election.

Transport and Infrastructure Minister recently wrote to me advising that the Liberal Government had backflipped on their commitment and will not install traffic lights to fix this dangerous intersection.

I am committed to continuing the fight to have the intersection fixed. You can help send a message to the Marshall Liberal Government to honour its commitment by signing the “Fix Fosters Road” petition: bit.ly/fixfostersroad

Parliament Update

Prospect Service SA In late February I was warmly welcomed into the South Australian Parliament by my colleagues following the by- must stay open! election.

I am proud to join with Peter Malinauskas and the Labor team to continue to hold the Marshall Liberal Government to account over their failures on the River Murray, cuts to public transport as well as the closures of Service SA centres.

You can watch my first speech to Parliament on my Facebook page, where I reflected on how much the local Enfield community gave my family when we migrated here from Cyprus. How I can Help As a Member of Parliament I can provide assistance and a range of services to individuals and community organisations. ■ Provide individuals and organisations ■ Arrange for special anniversary and advice and support on Local, State and birthday congratulatory messages Federal Government matters (to receive letters by the date from ■ Offer community or individual advocacy, dignitaries) engagement and consultation ■ Support community events or volunteer ■ Justice of the Peace Services groups with projects, activities and ■ Assistance with grant promotion applications ■ Organise Parliament House tours for ■ Address community concerns schools and community groups 4
