To drive the government’s economic growth priorities, including: • improving the competitiveness of the business environment, lifting productivity, increasing exports, unlocking private investment, and unlocking resources and production in regional areas. 1. Public: I1-A1 Terms of reference The Committee will meet its objective by: 1. Driving the effective design and delivery of Growth State: Our plan for prosperity 2. Monitoring the state of the economy 3. Coordinating, shaping and progressing policy proposals to drive economic growth in both the short and long term 4. Assessing proposals on relevant strategic economic policy issues requiring dedicated attention and development, before referral to Cabinet 5. Assessing and recommending proposals for funding through the Jobs and Economic Growth Fund to Cabinet 6. Monitoring the status of key commitments and reforms in the areas of economic development, including calling accountable Ministers and Chief Executives to appear before the Committee 7.
