MARTYN E. KINGSTON, PHD Professional Biography Dr. Martyn E. Kingston is a driven visionary who has dedicated his life, personally and professionally, to making a difference in the lives of others. He started and built numerous (and several high profile) rugby and skiing programs. As an international level rugby coach and experienced competitive sports program director, he built and guided top-notch teams, earning impressive achievements with Harvard College Rugby Team, Boston Rugby Club, and Seattle Rugby Club. He also made notable contributions to the U.S. Rugby Football Union as Head Coach and Program Developer & Director of all-star and developmental rugby programs, several of which are still today regarded as model programs for the sport. His work includes PhD research in South Africa, several academic appointments overseas teaching and researching comparative society and business, the publication of award winning transnational marketing papers, case work and business analysis, and consulting engagements abroad. He enjoys traveling for business and has visited 28 countries around the world, including case work on major global companies. As an active volunteer, he gives back to the community as Board Member, Committee Member, Guest Speaker, Panel Member, and Planning Commissioner.
