www.aerosociety.com LOCATION MAP AND DIRECTIONS No. 4 Hamilton Place, London, W1J 7BQ, UK By Underground: Directions from Hyde Park Corner Station • Nearest tube is Hyde Park Corner (three minutes away) - Piccadilly Line; • Follow the yellow arrows marked 'Park Lane Subway'; this will take you to the centre island; • Walk straight on and turn down the stairs following signs for 'Piccadilly' through the subway; • Turn right at the T-junction and exit the subway via the stairs facing you; • Walk along Piccadilly keeping the Intercontinental Hotel on your left hand side; • Hamilton Place is the first turning on the left. No.4 is the first building after the hotel. Directions from Green Park Station • Green Park Tube is a five minute walk away - Piccadilly, Jubilee and Victoria Lines; • Walk towards Hyde Park Corner, with Green Park on your left; • Hamilton Place is the last turning on the right, just beyond the Hard Rock Cafe. By Bus: Routes 2, 8, 9, 10, 14, 19, 22, 30, 36, 38, 52, 73 and 74 all stop at Hyde Park Corner. Parking: Car parking spaces can be found at either the Four Seasons Hotel, Hamilton Place (Congestion Charge applies) or the NCP Underground Car Park on Park Lane. By Air: London Heathrow Airport is approximately 15 miles west of the city. The quickest way of travelling to the society is by the Piccadilly Line Underground to Hyde Park Corner (45 mins). The Heathrow Express train (journey time 30 mins) from all terminals to Paddington Station runs every 15 minutes. London Gatwick Airport is about 28 miles south of the city. The Gatwick Express runs a train service between the airport and Victoria Station in Central London. My single biggest regret as Mayor is that I did not do it sooner. Our original painted lanes were revolutionary at the time. But knowing what I do now, we would have blasted ahead with our new segregated cycle lanes from the beginning. Road space is hotly contested. According to a former Chancellor of the Exchequer, installing a cycle lane on the Victoria Embankment was “doing more damage to London than almost anything since the Blitz”. Many of my colleagues in Parliament share this view. The Superhighways have probably been one of the most difficult things we have had to do. But there is already clear evidence that they will succeed.

Press Release January 2019 45 Park Lane welcomes head sommelier Frederic Marti (London) Dorchester Collection’s contemporary Mayfair hotel, 45 Park Lane, has welcomed Frederic Marti as head sommelier, overseeing the wine selection for Wolfgang Puck’s CUT at 45 Park Lane and BAR 45. Having worked closely with some of London’s leading chefs, including Jason Atherton at Pollen Street Social and Lee Westcott at The Typing Room, Frederic collaborates closely with executive chef David McIntyre to enhance the wine selection at CUT at 45 Park Lane and host a series of wine dinners within the restaurant. Special wine dinners will take place every other month, pairing David’s modern American dishes with varying styles of wine. Each evening will highlight a different grower, producer or region. Frederic was born and raised in the south of France, close to Toulouse, but has strong ties to Catalonia, where many of his family live.
