BIBLE STORY: FROM ABRAHAM TO JESUS • Jesus’ earthly family included Abraham, David, and others. • From Abraham to King David there were 14 generations, and from King David to the exile in Babylon there were 14 more. • Jesus came 14 generations after the exile to fulﬁll God’s promises to Abraham and David.
