As always, there have been numerous activities taking place outside of the classroom, some of which are celebrated later in the magazine. These extra- curricular activities are a great way for students to develop personally: making new friendships, learning new skills, building confidence and raising aspiration. Our ‘In the Spotlight...’ feature this edition is a focus on students’ personal development from joining the school through to leaving us after Year 13. We have created an overview of the opportunities students are given as well as the character and attributes we are trying to develop. I hope you find it interesting. At this time of year I start to think about our areas for development as a school.
