Welcome to Anderson Mill Limited District’s Se- nior Activity Center! The Senior Activity Center is a great place for adults who are 55 and older to come and enjoy a good time. The Center is where we participate in many different activities and meet new individuals within our community. The Ander- son Mill Limited District Senior Activity Center is like a home away from home. All of our members are friendly, welcoming and the newly renovated building where we reside is very cozy and comfort- able.

With the help of our Senior Center Advisory Com- mittee we have been able to create a wide array of activities for the enjoyment of all. The activities at the Senior Activity Center are designed to pro- vide a social experience for Seniors who would like a change of pace. Our weekly activities include: cards, dominoes, potluck, bingo, Texercise, Tai Chi, and dulcimer practice. We also provide activities such as biweekly lunch trips. The special bus trips allow us to visit many different places such as mu- seums, wineries, and the smaller towns surround- ing Austin. This past year we have added two new activities for our Seniors, line dancing lessons at Arthur Murray Dance Studio and an Arts and Crafts Workshop where we are instructed on the finer points of painting and learning other artistic skills.

Anderson Mill Limited District and its staff take great pride in knowing that they are here to better the community and provide a welcoming atmo- sphere for anyone and everyone looking for a place to go to make friends and learn new skills.
