Rye Plaza Private Dining Minimums & Room Capacity We have one large space that can be broken into two smaller spaces. While we do not have a room fee, we do ask that you spend at least the appropriate minimum amount below. Any item you purchase through us will count toward your minimum, but tax and gratuity will not. If the total spent, not including tax and gratuity, does not reach the minimum the difference will be billed as an unmet minimum unless other arrangements have been made prior to the signing of the contract. All per person amounts will be calculated using the guaranteed guest count provided on the agreed upon date prior to your event or the amount of guests in the room, whichever is higher. The capacities listed below are the absolute maximum number of guests you can comfortably fit in the space, but depending on your other set up needs the number may be lower. As the date approaches that fee may grow based on the costs to the restaurant, up to the amount of the contract on the date the guarantee is due. We do not require a deposit, but we reserve the right to require one when deemed necessary. Menus & Dietary Restrictions All parties larger than 8-12 people, depending on date and time, are required to use a customized menu and will not have the full menu available. We are happy to customize the menu to suit dietary concerns, or any other needs, so long as we know them in advance. All children 10 & under are welcome to order off the children’s menu, regardless of any other menu offerings. Beverages Coffee, iced tea, and soda are included in the price of the customized menus. All non-included drinks will be charged per drink based on consumption. We are happy to ensure compliance with your budget through a variety of hosted, limited, or cash bar options, including customized tastings, demonstrations, or any other experiences to make your event special. Outside Food & Corkage As a full service restaurant, we strive to provide everything your guests might need. If there is a specific food or wine you would like to offer to your guests, please ask our event staff and we’ll be happy to discuss options. However, if you do decide to bring in outside product, we have a fee of $35 per bottle of wine and $4 or more per person for any outside food. These fees are non-negotiable, unless due to severe allergy. Gratuity & Tax All events are subject to 20% gratuity and all applicable taxes on all items. These are not included in the pricing listed in this packet. Groups requesting tax exemption must submit a copy of their tax exemption letter in advance. Payment & Separate Check Unless prior arrangements have been made, all events will be billed as one check and payment will be due at the end of the event. We do not allow for separate checks for parties larger than 12 people. Parking & Valet The Plaza offers several garages filled with free parking year round. Additionally, we offer valet during dinner. If you would like to include it for your guests, it is an $12 charge*, which includes tip for the valet. Please let our event team know in advance if you’d like to cover valet so we can get it arranged. * Seasonal pricing may apply during the holidays. Rye provides complimentary tan place mats, blue gingham napkins, and votive candles. We are happy to help you customize your event with a variety of options, including favors found at the back of the packet. While some of our other customizations are listed below, we’re open to any ideas you have about how to make your event special. Glitter and confetti are prohibited and the use of either will result in an automatic $100 clean up charge. Candles are provided , but if you’d like to bring in your own, they are only allowed in containers that are previously approved. Renter shall be expressly and solely liable for any and all damages to event premises during the event. You are welcome to arrive up to 30 minutes prior to your guest arrival to place your decorations. If you need more time it must be agreed to and specified on your contract. Prices subject to change.
