Oxfam America’s Sisters on the Planet Initiative Oxfam America’s Sisters on the Planet initiative brings together prominent women in the U.S., including Members of Congress and leaders in civic, business, faith-based and philanthropic communities, who recognize the disproportionate impact of poverty and hunger on poor people, especially women and children. Sisters on the Planet Ambassadors support U.S. policy that responds to the needs of the most vulnerable, both at home and abroad.
