CFM Logo The symbol for the Christian Family Movement is made up of four component parts: the ancient sign for man, woman and child with the Christian symbol for Christ, joined in beautiful harmony to form a single unit, indicating the most basic characteristics of the Christian family.

Christ - Superimposed upon the whole is the symbol; for Christ, the Chi Rho, who holds the center place in the family unit.

Man - Shown with arms lifted up to Gods, standing as a tower of great strength, exemplifying his place as head of the family.

Woman - Reaching toward the earth, beautifully demonstrating her likeness to the earth in her fertility - the place she holds in the divine plan of creation fulfilled in the family unit.

Child - The circle, as a sign of life, represents the child, showing the closeness of the power of man and woman to God’s power of creation.

CATHOLIC ’S CONFERENCE OF THE

Message

With a shepherd's joy, I cordially greet the members and officers of the Christian Family Movement (CFM) of the Philippines on the occasion of your 35th Biennial National Convention on 25-27 October 2019!

Your theme “CFM Becoming Good News at Home and to the World” expresses clearly your being in communion with the Church on this Year of the Youth (2019) here in the Philippines, and CFM's vision “to bring the Good News to our neighborhood and nearby communities as well as in other areas where we may be of service”.

I hope and pray that the members and officers of CFM will be inspired by the intercession of the Holy Family of Jesus, Mary and Joseph to hold on together with faith, hope and love in your hearts, even as you continue to proclaim the Good News by being channels of God's love, peace and joy to all men and women of every race and religion, especially the young people of the third millennium.

Congratulations and God bless!

CATHOLIC BISHOP’S CONFERENCE OF THE PHILIPPINES EPISCOPAL COMMISSION ON FAMILY AND LIFE

Message

I am one with the Christian Family Movement (CFM) in its 35th Biennial National Convention with the theme "CFM Becoming Good News at Home and to the World."

The gathering of the CFM Family Ministers in Zambales which will be on October 25-27, 2019, is but an expression of that burning desire to reflect on the reality that truly the "family continue[s] to be good news for today's world" (rf. Pope Francis letter to Cardinal Farrell, in preparation for the World Meeting of Families, Ireland)

The desire to share your being a CFM is a spirit filled initiative. This reminds me of what the recent Papal Exhortation speaks about in Christus Vivit, "Jesus grew in a relationship with the Father, in awareness of being part of a family and a people, and in openness to being filled with the Holy Spirit and led to carry out the mission God gives to Jesus - personal vocation." (No. 30)

As Chairman of the Episcopal Commission on Family and Life, I encourage you to share this desire and the spirit of being "Goodnews" at home and to the entire country.

My blessings!

Most Rev. Gilbert A. Garcera Chairman, Epsicopal Commission on Family and Life, CBCP

CATHOLIC BISHOP’S CONFERENCE OF THE PHILIPPINES EPISCOPAL COMMISSION ON FAMILY AND LIFE

Message

I congratulate the Christian Family Movement (CFM) on its 35th Biennial National Convention. It will be held in Zambales on October 25 - 27, 2019. A national convention is always a great event for an organization. It is a time of renewing the leadership and the spirit of the organization. Usually it comes out of the convention with a renewed sense of mission.

The theme of the national convention is an expression of the mission of the group: CFM Becoming Good News at Home and to the World. The family is now being attacked in this country. There are threats of legislations that weaken the institution of the family like divorce, same sex unions and lowering of criminal responsibility of children. In these times we need the witness of good families to bring the Good News that strong families are possible and they make people happy. The CFM has a long history of helping families and witnessing to happy and strong family relations.

In this Year of the Youth we are reminded that we cannot have good youth apostolate without good family apostolate. Good and stable young people come from stable and loving families. By working for families, especially the wounded ones, CFM does a lot to bring up the culture of life and to support work for the young.

I pray that the CFM will be up to its mission in the family apostolate. God bless you all and have a nourishing and memorable national convention.

Message

To the Christian Family Movement of the Philippines:

Greetings of peace and love of Jesus Our Lord!

I always thank the Lord for giving the Church a family who live the meaning of the Gospel at home. The family that make the Gospel their way of life is the best translation of the Word of God. Priests may deliver the best homily in the Eucharistic celebration but family deliver the best meaning of the Gospel at home. We remember that the Church began in the homes of the disciples. The Domus Ecclesia (house-church) was the first locus of the Gospel proclamation. The experience of encountering Jesus brought joy to the house of Jairus (Mark 5) and eventually the apostles continue bringing the presence of Christ in the homes of the believers like the house of Lydia (Acts 16:14).

I hope and pray that the CFM Community will always encounter Jesus in their homes. May Jesus be the strength and inspiration of our youth today, the next generation of Catholic family living in the ways of the Gospel.

In Jesus, Mary and Joseph

Most Rev. Bartolome G. Santos Jr. D.D. Bishop of Iba

CHRISTIAN FAMILY MOVEMENT OF THE PHILIPPINES Member: International Confederation of Christian Family Movements Christian Family Movement of Asia • Council of the Laity of the Philippines Message Once more we have this precious occasion to mutually inspire and support each other during our CFM 35th Biennial National Convention in Zambales this October 25-27, 2019 with the theme: “CFM Becoming Good News at Home and to the World”. Through this coming together we aim to bring the Good News to our neighborhood and nearby communities as well as in other areas where we may be of service but always starting from our homes.

Pope Francis summarizes the core message of this Good News that we need to live out in our homes and everywhere in his recent apostolic exhortation, Christus vivit:

• The first of this message is a “God who is love”. His love is one that “has to do more with raising up than knocking down, with reconciling than forbidding, with offering new changes than condemning, with the future than the past” (Christus vivit,116).

• The second message is that “Christ saves you”. Never forget that “He forgives us seventy times seven. Time and time again, He bears us on his shoulders” (Christus vivit, 119). Jesus loves us and saves us because “only what is loved can be saved. Only what is embraced can be transformed. The Lord's love is greater than all our problems, frailties and flaws” (Christus vivit,120). And “His forgiveness and salvation are not something we can buy, or that we have to acquire by our own works or efforts. He forgives us and sets us free without cost” (Christus vivit,121).

• The third of this message is that “He is alive!”. “We need to keep reminding ourselves of this…because we can risk seeing Jesus Christ simply as a fine model from the distant past, as a memory, as someone who saved us two thousand years ago. But that would be of no use to us: it would leave us unchanged, it would not set us free” (Christus vivit,124). If He lives, “there can be no doubt that goodness will have the upper hand in your life… then we can stop complaining and look to the future, for with him this is always possible” (Christus vivit,127).

During this Year of the Youth, may our Christian Families become truly “the first place of accompaniment” (Christus vivit,242), where our young people discover and experience their being “Beloved, Gifted, and Empowered for Mission” and where they are accompanied in the discernment of their vocation which is no other than a call to missionary service to others, “for our life on earth reaches full stature when it becomes an offering” (Christus vivit, 254).

May in every Christian home and community our young people find the qualities they look for in a mentor: “being a faithful Christian who engages with the Church and the world; someone who constantly seeks holiness; someone who is a confidant without judgement. Similarly, someone who actively listens to the needs of young people and responds in kind; someone deeply loving and self-aware; someone who recognizes his or her limits and knows the joys and sorrows of the spiritual journey. An especially important quality in mentors is the acknowledgement of their own humanity – the fact that they are human beings who make mistakes: not perfect people but forgiven sinners” (Christus vivit,246). They should know how to “walk alongside them”, respecting their freedom.

“THANK YOU” and “CONGRATULATIONS” to all our CFM officers and members!

CHRISTIAN FAMILY MOVEMENT OF THE PHILIPPINES Message Beloved CFMers:

Peace!

Allow me to congratulate you and your families on your 35th Biennial National Convention guided by the theme, "CFM Becoming Good News at Home and to the World".

CFM's presence in the Philippine Church these past 60 years or so has contributed a great deal to the awakening and heightened awareness on the vital necessity of family life ministry in the Church's mission of New Evangelization.

CFM should also make a modest boast that it has given birth to more family life movements and organizations spread throughout the local Churches in the country. The Philippine Church is blessed to have family life workers and evangelizers both based at home and overseas.

The CFM - accredited Encounter programs have, likewise, touched base with couples and families coming from different walks of life. They have given opportunities for Faith-Encounters among the different members of the Filipino community.

The challenge that awaits CFMers in the years ahead should address the new and current issues on marriage and the family affecting today's millennials and Gen Zers (Generation Z, the 24 years old and below).

CFM needs to be transformed from within to be effective in the accompaniment of today's changed and changing generations.

Blessings and Mabuhay to CFM!

Sincerely yours,

Msgr. Manuel G. Gabriel CFM Asst. National Chaplain

International Confederation of Christian Family Movement

Message Congratulations to the CFM Philippines (CFMP) on the occasion of its 35th Biennial National Convention. By choosing for its theme, “CFM Becoming Good News at Home and to the World”, we can say that CFMP has finally come of age. Over the years, we have seen and witnessed this transformation in the CFMP and how it has evolved and become into what it is today—spreading the Good News of the family to the world.

The decision of the current leadership of CFMP to bring CFM to other parts of Asia, although fraught with risks, is commendable. And it is the right thing to do. Sixty (60) years ago, CFM USA brought this movement to the Philippines. Sixty (60) years later, after being the pioneer and dominant family life organization in the country, CFMP is now bringing this movement to countries in Asia through its CFMP Foreign Missions Desk.

The Foreign Missions Desk is presently laying the foundation for the organization of CFM units in Vietnam, Sumatra and Malaysia. These efforts are starting to bear fruit. After sending a group of Vietnamese to the Philippines to attend the Self Encounter and Marriage Encounter weekends, there is now a request from Vietnam to send the CFMP Youth team to go to Vietnam to conduct training programs. A priest and one nun in Sumatra will go to Mexico to undergo a one month CFM orientation and training programs. The CFSM of has come on board and offered to help in Malaysia.

Three years ago during the World Assembly of Families in San Antonio, Texas, Jorge and Rosalinda Carillo, then president- couple of ICCFM, said that the CFM Philippines is the lighthouse of the movement in Asia. It was a challenge then and it continues to be challenge today.

Let us pray that the CFM Philippines would remain steadfast in its resolve to becoming the Good News at home and to the world.

“Go into the whole world and preach the Gospel to all creation.” Mk 16:15

Again, Congratulations!!!

Message Dear Elliot and Grace,

It is with a sense of deep joy and gratitude to God that we send this message on the occasion of the 35th Biennial National Convention of the Christian Family Movement of the Philippines being held on October 25-27, 2019.

It is remarkable that you hold biennial conventions on a regular basis. Every institution or organization has to hold such conclaves to appreciate the current status and also to see what new measures are required to take the organization to the desired level. No wonder that the CFM Philippines has been able to achieve much on all fronts including missionary outreach. As CFMers we should always remember our main objective which is to promote good values in the family by building a Christcentric family where love and peace prevail, and Christ feels at home.

Indeed a Christian home must be a place where Jesus feels completely at home. That means that He is happy about everything He sees in our home, He is happy about the books we read, the conversation between husband and wife and children, the programs we watch on TV, the way we spend our time, the way we spend our money and everything else in our life. If we live like that because we believe that Jesus died for us, at the end of our life we will have the assurance of Jesus telling us – Well done!

We have just returned from the the XIVth World Assembly of Families held by the ICCFM at Morelia, Mexico in July 2019. The theme was: “The family is called to holiness so that the light of Christ shines in each home”. Evangelization first takes place in the family. And parents by word and example are the evangelists.

Knowing Jesus Christ by faith is our joy. Following Him is a grace. Passing on this treasure to others is a task entrusted to us by the Lord while calling and choosing us. In order to formulate this response worthily, Christian families need to adopt a vision of faith and holiness that enables them to live and orient their lives for others – in the family, in the Church and in the society. Families have to become 'light of the world' and 'salt of the earth', and to become that we have to mingle with others. Thankfully, CFM worldwide has been engaged in promoting this vision. We pray that the CFM in the Philippines and the Biennial Convention of October 2019 will help families live up to these ideals.

We wish the Biennial Convention every success and pray that your vision and objectives may be fulfilled by the Grace of God.

In Union with the Holy Family of Nazareth, Yours sincerely,

CHRISTIANCATHOLIC BISHOP’S FAMILY CONFERENCE MOVEMENT OF THE PHILIPPINES OF THE PHILIPPINES Message

The inspirational quote above, tells us that the Christian Family Movement is, indeed, a FAMILY in every sense of the word. In our unit alone, trials and challenges are made easy because of the love and support of our fellow members. We are, also, able to serve effectively the local church and community because of our faith in God's providence and guidance.

For this year, our theme for the 35th Biennial National Convention is “CFM BECOMING GOOD NEWS AT HOME AND TO THE WORLD”. It jives with CFM's mission statement: “Our mission is to be evangelized and to evangelize families and communities through our family and life programs and advocacies”. We are being tasked to go out of our “comfort zones”, let us go to other parishes and especially where CFM has no presence yet and offer our programs and services. In line with this thrust the CFM Philippines together with CFM Continental Asia have created a “Foreign Mission” desk to enable us to gain foothold initially in our Asean neighbors in Malaysia, Indonesia and Vietnam.

We may have a daunting task ahead of us, but with the grace of God and the Holy Family of Nazareth as our inspiration, we will be able to achieve our “dream” of becoming the lighthouse in Asia.

Finally, we would like to thank for their invaluable support our National Officers, Committee Heads, Area Vice Presidents, Archdiocesan/Diocesan Directors, Parish Coordinators and most especially to our fellow CFM members for entrusting to us the leadership of our organization these past 2 years (2018-2019).

We hope that CFM will continue to be relevant in spreading the Good News “at home and to the world”.

Mabuhay and God bless CFM!

CHRISTIAN FAMILY MOVEMENT OF THE PHILIPPINES Message Dear Fellow CFMers and Benefactors of our Foundation,

The joy and peace of the Lord be yours!

We were elected in July 2018 to continue the good work of Rene and Inday Pronstroller who had been President- Couple of the Foundation for the past nine years immediately before us.

As you know, the mission of the Foundation is to source funds for two purposes: First, for CFM Philippines to continue with its mission of family evangelization to more people in more parishes and dioceses in our country. The harvests are indeed many, but the laborers are few, because we need to provide them with funds to conduct CFM programs in Nazareth Home and in other parishes and dioceses in need of them.Second, to maintain our national headquarters, our Nazareth Home, which has been the venue for most of our family evangelization programs.Maintenance means undertaking repairs for this three- storey building which we have used for 30+ years.

The third reason for raising funds is to complete the fourth floor of Nazareth Home, which had started in 2017 and nearly completed by Rene and Inday Pronstroller whose vision is to provide bigger accommodations for our assemblies, particularly of our CFM Youth.

With God's grace and with your active support, we had been able to raise funds from two sources: first, our donation drive among CFMers and non-CFMers during the period of August–December 2018, culminating in the holding of “An Afternoon Delight for a Cause” on December 15, 2018 which will be used exclusively to fund our evangelization programs; and second, the sponsorship and donations of the remaining air-conditioned rooms in Nazareth Home by generous CFMers including CFM Past Presidents.

We pray and thank God that before we end our 2-year term in 2020, the 4th floor and repair of the stairway from the 2nd to the 4th floors would have been completed and fully functional. And we thank you for your generous support.

In God, we always trust!

CHRISTIAN FAMILY MOVEMENT OF THE PHILIPPINES Message The 35th National Biennial Convention theme is: CFM becoming Good News at Home and to the World

The Christian Family Movement Of The Philippines (CFM Philippines) is more than just a church movement; it has been a way of life and Good News to many Filipino families since its organization in 1956. Congratulations and best wishes to the newly elected ICCFM (International Confederation of Christian Family Movements) President Couple Pip and Wilma Chua — former CFM Philippines President Couple. With their election, CFM Philippines is becoming Good News to the world, especially in Asia.

Accepting the leadership of the CFM Philippines for the year 2020-2021 is a big challenge. But God blessed us with a strong backbone — a support system composed of the past presidents, AVPs and AAVPs, solo parents, and our youth ministry. We believe that together with the rest of our membership, everything is possible. In all of you, we find the courage to lead and continue our mission “to be evangelized and to evangelize families and communities through our family and life programs and advocacies.” Together, we strive to achieve our vision of a community of evangelized families witnessing to Christ, sanctified by the Spirit in building the Father's kingdom.

To our fellow CFMers, let us unite and be firmly committed to our vision and mission. All of us must do our part to realize our dream of becoming BIGGER, BETTER, and BOLDER. Alone we cannot do anything, but together we can achieve everything. We would like to thank each and everyone who took the time to be with us at the 35th Biennial Convention. Our heartfelt gratitude goes to the of Iba, Zambales who tirelessly gave their time, talent, and treasures in support of this event. We are grateful to all the sponsors for helping us augment our finances. May the Lord bless you a hundredfold. Lastly, we would like to thank the steering committee whose efforts made this convention truly successful.

God bless us all.

In Christ,

BOY AND AGNES YAMBAO Executive Vice President & Convention Chair-Couple

NATIONAL PRESIDENT’S REPORT 2018 – 2019 Elliot & Grace Kam

First and foremost, we thank the Lord for guiding us during our two-year term (2018-2019) as your servant leader in CFM Philippines. The tasks before us were indeed challenging but at the same time, very fulfilling as well. We are humbled to report to you that we have been able to achieve most of our plans made a couple of years ago by forming a Team with a mixture of the “wisdom of the elders and the energy & dynamism of our young CFMers”.

Our two-year term commenced with a Eucharistic Celebration, followed with the 1st Quarterly Board of Directors (BoD) meeting at CFM Nazareth Home in Quezon City.

CFM IS NOW PRESENT IN THE ARCHDIOCESE OF CACERES AND DIOCESE OF SAN CARLOS

One of our “dreams” during our Inaugural Address in the 2017 Iloilo convention was for CFM to gain foothold in, at least, 2-3 new dioceses before the end of our term. The good Lord did not disappoint us for people who persevered and never give up. The couple, bro. Ver & sis. Babes Arevalo, with the whole-hearted support of Fr. Pat Villasanta, was able to form a new CFM unit at the Our Lady of Mt. Carmel parish, Carolina, Naga City from the Self- Encounter (SE) graduates. We were fortunate to induct 22 of them on June 30, 2019.

And, at last, the Diocese of San Carlos, through the untiring effort of our National Chaplain, Bp. Gerry Alminaza, was able to induct 2 units during the CFM Bacolod 60th anniversary on December 1, 2018. We would like to thank Bp. Gerry, for shepherding and defending his flock, not only in San Carlos City but in the province of , against those who pollute and destroy the environment as well as abuses by the police and military. Hounded by God to Serve His Flock (Bishop Roberto Orendain Gaa)

The Philippines has been blessed with eight priests appointed by His Holiness, Pope Francis to the Episcopate since January, 2019. One of them is Fr. Roberto Gaa, who had been the Rector of Holy Apostles Senior Seminary (HASS) since 2008 up to his appointment on June 6, 2019. He is now the bishop of the Diocese of Novaliches after Bishops Emeritus Teodoro Bacani and Antonio Tobias.

The members of CFM Philippines welcomed the CBCP announcement from the Vatican with gratitude, joy and understandable pride. Out of around 40 priest sons from CFM families, Fr. Roberto Gaa recently became the third bishop, preceded by Ret. Bishop Deogracias Iñiguez and Bishop Mylo Vergara.

Bishop Gaa comes from a family with close ties to the Catholic Church. His late parents, Agapito and Priscila (Pitong and Precy), After his ordination in 2000, Fr. Roberto Gaa was sent to Sta. CFM DIOCESE OF IBA PROGRAMS AND ACTIVITIES By Bro. Albert & Sis. Millette Hechanova The Christian Family Movement of St. James Parish under the Diocese of Iba started with Mr. and Mrs. Bert Reyes as the first Parish Chair couple. However, before CFM was introduced to the Parish, there had been several Marriage Encounters done and later on these couples who undertook the ME became members of CFM. From then, CFM Iba had created team of facilitators and had conducted several Tipanan seminars reaching as far as La Union. Then, followed by the Solo Parent Encounter which was first given to our diocese sometime in 2007 and now has a team of facilitators.

Later on, we had a training on how to conduct Parent and Child Interaction Program way back 10 years ago and since then we have been giving PCI until today to several schools in the Diocese of Iba as part of school program for Grade 9 students and their parents. Other CFM programs that were launched in the diocese are Sons & Daughters Encounter (SADE) and Young Adults Program (YAP). So far, we have conducted 33 SADE weekends to high school students from various Catholic schools in Zambales and 4 YAP weekends to graduating college students in Magsaysay Memorial College.

Small Ripples of Faith – CFM in Naga City, Bicol By Bro. Ver and Sis. Babes Arevalo

When Bro. Elliot approached us to be the Area VP for Bicol/South Luzon, it was an offer we cannot refuse. After all, he and Sis Grace have been the“Gabay” of our CFM unit at San Antonio Abad Parish in Pasig and he also knew that we plan to spend portion of our retirement days in Naga City. However, we knew the job will be very difficult because we hardly knew any church community in Naga because we are there only during holidays like Christmas, Holy Week and the Penafrancia fiesta. My wife, Sis Babes, used to sing in the Naga Cathedral choir during her high school and college days but that was long ago. For our Sunday mass in Naga, we would usually attend at the Ateneo de Naga University chapel which is just a walking distance The Pre-Cana seminar was held on Dec. 13, 2018. from our house so we really had almost zero contact with the local parishes. We are also very much involved in another “apo”-stolic job in Pasig taking care of our only “apo”.

When we started as AVP in Jan., 2018, we tried to seek an audience with Archbishop of the Archdiocese of Caceres but we failed. We presented CFM to a local parish priest but after the talk, we were advised that he is open to bring CFM to the parish but only with the approval of the Archbishop. Things were not looking good because we can't find somebody to accompany us to the Archbishop until we learned that a Self-Encounter CFM Pre-Cana group of San Guillermo Parish-Pasig led by (SE) program was being held at Nazareth Home with Bro Aldrian/Sis Reggie Lopez with Fr. Pat, Sis Jinn Fr. Ma. Teresa Feria Nieva

The seed of CFM planted by Pat & Patty Crowley (CFM-USA) in the Philippines during their visit from February 8 - 12, 1956 was efficiently nurtured by an equally dedicated couple, Tony & Teresa Nieva.

Armed with CFM Manuals, copies of "For Happier Families" meeting guidebook and a deep faith in the Divine Providence, Tony & Teresa courageously ventured forth to become the first lay disciples in the Philippines inviting couples to "restore all things to Christ."

Convincing couples to join a unique but unknown "family movement," meeting in small cells using the Observe-Judge-Act process, was not an easy task. Through prayers, perseverance, enthusiasm and good salesmanship, the first orientation was held in April, 1956. By June of the same year, Tony & Teresa generously opened the door of their home in Makati to 6 couples and a chaplain for the first CFM unit meeting. In September, 1956, three more couples joined and the group became the first "officially organized" CFM unit in the Philippines.

Tony was well known for his light-heartedness and sense of humor, which served the couple in good stead as they meet the challenges of raising their children in their formative years and at the same time shepherding CFM during its first twelve struggling years. Teresa was the serious and perfectionist type, as artistic temperament usually goes (albeit not bereft of humor herself), who wanted to see things done neatly and well, as conceived.

Truly, Tony & Teresa set a good example of how to be effective CFM leaders -- that brings to light the complementary roles in a husband-wife teamwork.

During their 12-year stewardship as President-Couple, Tony & Teresa generously shared their time, talent and treasure. They laid the groundwork for the CFM programs and its structures - family life education, social action, parish life and advocacies on issues that affect family life in the socio-economic political areas.

After their term, they continued their involvement through the inquiry program committee and as team couple in the Marriage Encounter. Tony & Teresa headed the Committee on Family Rights which became a Commission that finalized the draft on the Declaration of Family Rights. A copy was presented to late Pope John Paul II when he visited the Philippines in 1981. In 1986, they succeeded Sito & Sony Sison as president couple of CFM/CFSM - Asia. During this time, Teresa was also appointed as delegate to the Constitutional Convention by the late President Cory Aquino.

When Tony was called back by his Creator in 1992, Teresa continued to serve as secretary of the Bishops- Businessmen's Conference for many years. She also played an active role in the elections watchdog group National Citizens' Movement for Free Elections (NAMFREL). Teresa died peacefully at home on December 2, 2017 at the age of 94.

CFM Philippines owes Tony & Teresa Nieva a debt of gratitude for its staying power for 63 stable, fruitful years and counting.

Thank you, Tony & Teresa!

After that event, I gained more confidence in myself that later on in my life, I was more open to accepting more new and exciting challenges. Some of these were: being emcee during the CFM Diocese of Pasig Lenten Recollection, being a Diocesan Director for CFM, and anchoring CFM's radio program Ala, Una ang Pamilya! I knew right there and then that Tito Tony had a keen eye in seeing through a person's potential and developing it to the fullest. It was through Tito Tony's trust and confidence that I (and my wife, Mina) realized our potentials.

That was just the beginning of my journey with Tito Tony. During an afternoon chat with our company President, sometime in the year 2000, I had excused myself when I got a call from Tito Tony. I thought I even mentioned Tito Tony's name to our President. As I ended the call, our President asked me if the one I talked with was Antonio Kosca--Chemical Engineering, Batch 1962 of Dela Salle University.
